They're coming to take it away........
I warned my readers a while ago, that two of the many negative aspects of the Trump tax cuts for the rich are; #1. It will cripple the effectiveness of environmental watchdogging of manufacturersand #2. It will cause a larger deficit, which will result with the reduction or loss of programs like
social security and medicare.
These are programs that many people have paid into all their working lives.
Well, get ready. If Republicans keep the majority in the House, that is exactly what they will do.
Get ready to say goodbye to that which you have earned.
How dumb people were to vote for these pirates into office.
First they tried to elimina

Democrats Pounce On Mitch McConnell For Blaming Debt On Social Security, Medicare
They argue that it confirms their worst fears about the tax cuts.
For months now, Democratic leaders and congressional candidates have argued that the budget-busting Republican tax cuts put Social Security, Medicare and Medicaid at risk.
It was only a matter of time, they warned, before the GOP seamlessly pivoted from adding $1.9 trillion to the national debt to decrying the poor state of the nation’s finances, as if they had nothing to do with it, and demanding that the budget be balanced on the back of the country’s three biggest social insurance programs. As evidence to support their concerns, Democrats had pointed to remarks by House Speaker Paul Ryan (R-Wis.) immediately after the passage of the tax cut legislation, and more recently to comments by top White House economic adviser Larry Kudlow.
On Tuesday, some three weeks before the midterm elections, Democrats received more ammunition for their narrative, this time from Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell (R-Ky.).
Asked in a Bloomberg News interview for his reaction to news that the annual budget deficit exploded in President Donald Trump’s first full fiscal year in office, McConnell played the part of serious-minded budget hawk.
“It’s very disturbing,” he replied. “And it’s driven by the three biggest entitlement programs that are very popular: Medicare, Social Security and Medicaid.”
McConnell went on to blame politicians in both parties for lacking the backbone to make cuts to programs due to their popularity. He argued that elected officials will never pass the needed reforms so long as one party has control of the federal government.
“It’s disappointing, but it’s not a Republican problem,” he said. “It’s a bipartisan problem: unwillingness to address the real drivers of the debt by doing anything to adjust those programs to the demographics of America in the future.”

Social security doesn't cause debt at all. It is funded by the workers who pay into it.
The tax cuts for the rich and increased spending due to the larger budget increased the debt.
McConnel actually stated that Trump's tax cuts would reduce the debt, back when they voted on it.
Whether you want to call him a liar, or completely clueless, he doesn't belong in office,
and neither does the clueless/liar -in-chief !
Furthermore, while the small tax cut for everyone else is temporary, Trump made the huge tax cuts
for the rich PERMANENT !
What fools voted for this pirate ?!

and up to a MAXIMUM of $250 per month in tax credit to those earning less than $50,000 per year.
That would be a heck of a lot cheaper than the $Millions than the rich get in tax breaks from Trump, plus it would go to those more in need of the tax cuts. Lets repeal Trump's ridiculous travesty first !
Yes, that Disney.
And the stupid will just say it is more lies to make Trump look bad, oblivious to the fact that Trump's only talent is to look bad, he doesn't need any help in that area.
they are instead beholden to the rich, who line their pockets and pay for their campaigns. They no longer "represent" the majority of the people.
I love how easily people are still played by the worthless governing body called "CONGRESS".
Instead of complaining here to others that want to do nothing but cry and wine about every thing they can cretique; I first wrote a nice not-so-nice letter to 'ol boy mitchy about how worthless they have been and what the parties have allowed and done to the country over the last 2-3 decades. I even proposed they all take their concessions too, with a 65% pay cut.
What is it exactly, that many people do? Just argue and listen to every bit of propaganda for spreading around to make it seem like they make a point?
Or do many of you actually take any type of active role beyond propaganda and "voting"?
I'd like to see a cut on military spending. It doesn't need to be so large.
I do agree that Congressmen should be paid less.
They should also get the same Medicare & Social security that we get.
So, if they cut ours, theirs gets cut too.
I'm more of an independent thinker. So, I don't hang with cult members. Plus, I've never had a desire to study them. So, this is definitely not my area of expertise.
The crippling is actually the government over spending. Something dems are famous for. Almost doubled the national deficit under obozo then blame the other guy when they force another omnibus bill through with the current administration.
The tax cuts are just. Cutting spending seems to make too much sense when they get away with brainwashing so many others.
and SMALL TEMPORARY tax cuts to the middle class and actually raised the tax rate on the poor. Yes, crippling the government was part of Trump's / Putin's plan.
2014 $485 $1,086 2.7% Debt ceiling.
2015 $438 $327 2.4% Defense = $736.4 b.
2016 $585 $1,423 3.1% Defense = $767.3 b.
2017 $665 $672 3.4% Defense = $812.3 b.
2018 $833 $1,271 4.0% Defense = $824.7 b.
So in two years Trump has almost doubled the Deficit, not much to be proud about
