That cracked me up about your itch..I won't ask where you actually itch
My itch is I can't shake it. I slipped once on a roof. At break in the morning on a 10 12 roof pitch. walking up the roof to an opening where a ladder was in the attic. I new there was a 2x4 at the edge slide 8 ft to the 2x4 another worker had my tool belt also. Tarpaper was wet from flakes and was slippery. I don't like grit under under my shoes close to the edge. that's an itch

Its ok to laugh even the fall was 28 ft on top of blocks an a ladder. I still do walk on plank on roof jacks. but with caution. I'm ok with it
I wouldn't laugh at the situation you face..But like you say with caution goes a long way
I didn't fall that great and kinda dumb we were roofing next to a ski resort in the winter when there were making snow. We need some tunes now laugh
We have lovely snow resorts here..Now I'm laughing because my trip away at a snow resort here in Aus was bloody hilarious for real

One part I will tell is this..We were at a nigh club on the last night of our stay..We walked out the club at 3am in the morning..Little did we know the taxi service stopped at 11pm...There were 30 of us..We decided to get back to our chalet by foot..It was bloody freezing..We were lost walking for four hours..One girl became hysterical screaming we're going to die..Someone slapped her across the face too stop her hysteria
Turned out we had been walking around our Chalet for four hours..We were all drunk so for four hours we didn't realise we were walking around a huge circle of land past our chalet
