Check out the beautiful young chick(s) !

Well, perhaps that's not the very best title for a blog on a dating site.
Or is it. dunno laugh

Nonetheless, this is a live CAM feed of 1 or 2 beautiful young chicks... and their mom.

Well, to explain better, it is a live view of an eagle's nest high in a tree in Duke's Farm in Bridgewater, NJ, USA.
Mom (as I type this) is currently in the nest on top of her 1 to 2 tiny new hatchlings,
keeping them warm and safe from being blown out of the nest, as it has been cold & windy lately
here in NJ.

So, click on the play arrow and see what's happening right now.
I did think I saw 2 cute hatchling eaglets for a bit last night, but either one
got blown out of the nest, or the other was still an egg.
I'm sure that at some point today dad will be back to the nest with some food,
perhaps fresh caught fish and mom will
feed the chick(s) sashimi and you're invited to watch. laugh
If all goes well, you can check back from time to time and watch the youngsters grow up and eventually fledge from the nest live. applause

Note - after the initial play quickly expires, click on the live play arrow at the bottom left.

Lets go to the video

there's a live cam in PA too. of an eagle, that is. i wonder if they feel like they're being watched.
I doubt it. But, perhaps background music would be appropriate laugh

i bet they do have a sense of being watched. they're natural predators in tune with nature.
Here in Wisconsin, we have a large population of Bald Eagles! Beautiful birds!thumbs up
Yes, they are Jim. Here in NJ, we are now up to almost 200 known bald eagle nests this year.
I'm guessing, that there are probably some, that aren't recorded.
They've made a great comeback, since DDT was banned, and water pollution laws were tightened. At one time, there was only one known breeding couple left and several of their chicks died each year, until they were finally successful.
Feeding the chick right now !

(Whoops, only 1 chick & 1 egg. I thought I saw 2 last night.
But either I was wrong, or one got blown out of the nest.)
Ma, Pa, and baby all visible in the nest now.
You have to wait a little to see the baby.
Mom has been feeding.
Terrific poses of mom feeding the chick now.
