Nap time? laugh
And yet, it's the most intelligent thing, he's ever posted. applause laugh
So one may assume that the lower the level of pollution, the less likely you will encounter Corona Virus "molecules" or whatever you call them? Another good reason to stay in the house, especially if you happen to live in a very polluted area.
At least from that source. If you're in an environment where people are sneezing, you're likely to be more prone to get it that way. If common surfaces have not been sanitized, etc... Population density also is contributory.
Are they following social distancing, etc... The masks should help filtering out the particles somewhat though.
@ chat? perhaps. Cut-and-paste recitals make for such an event.
Like Trump, he has trouble reading. comfort

Sure, but there is no reason to disrespect the blogger.
If it's something you dislike, the best advise is to avoid it... like the flu
Public forums are subject to critique. If not so, why make them public?
I've discussed this at an earlier time. He doesn't learn.
candykid, do you consider yourself a mature adult?
If you have something intelligent to add, please do so.
If you just want to whine, take a hike elsewhere.
What right have you to ask of me?
The ID he chose should give an indication of that. laugh

I now bestow rights to Chat to ask questions of candychild
Well so much for fresh air help

I remember the miners talking about the canary in the coal mine. They used to take caged canaries with them in the mine. So I'll let the birds be my canary, if they start dropping dead then I'll know. wine

Candy is not of right mind...he supports Lind...which tells you of his mentality...just ignore him...wine
Cats may be a better indicator h.

candykid,
What right have you to ask of me?

You did.
As a responsible member of the CS community, I politely hinted that you might be a bit grumpy... or immature in your comment to Jim's blog.

It was unwarranted and immature swipe to his blog.
Oh, its been clear for some time, that he's "not of right mind".
Plus, I've seen styrafoam less dull. laugh
@ chat. Was it not you who first addressed me?
Was it Not me?
No... it WAS me.

Zzzzzzzzz,,,,,,,,,, came first. I asked if it was nap time.

Already explained.
I would think cats are tougher than birds. My neighbor feeds stray cats and she's in a wheel chair so she opens her door and lets all the cats in and then she rolls out on the porch and puts their food down and the cats run back out and then she goes back in. BUT I was afraid the outside cats were going to bring some kind of disease into her 2 cats...I mentioned it to her but it didn't change anything.. then her pure bred hairless cat 'Peachy" died. She was only 7 yrs old. Now she lets her other cat go outside and back in. Honestly the stray will eat just about anything.
Explained prior? Please direct.

Too funny...laugh
I'm not sure the birds would appreciate that comment. laugh

Seriously, what I meant, was that several cats have gotten the disease, both house cats and a tiger.
I haven't read anything that says birds get it. My feeling is that cat lungs, since they are mammals, are a lot more like our lungs and would likely be a better indicator.
You're right about the cat lungs.. I had a cat die of COPD. The vet asked if I smoked and I said no and he said he has only seen that 3 times, cats living with smokers get COPD.
The only thing I could figure was I had a lid on the litter box and I used clay litter, and he used to stay in there forever digging and covering up. He loved his litter box and wouldn't let my other cat near it. So I got 2, now I have tops off..I don't want that to happen again..it was horrible.
h - I understand. I won't have pets anymore. It breaks my heart when they die.
Yes they become part of your family. Last month my sons Black Lab died. He was 11 and had a bad heart but my 11 yr old g-son and him grew up together...it was so sad..he was a very smart dog. I used to crochet him toys..and when I would visit he would go find one of the toys I made him and bring it to me to play with him. I can't even look at a dog now, it still tears me up.
I totally understand and can identify. My condolences on the loss of your furry pal. sad flower
This is a new virus.

We will continue to learn more about it......

We all should keep safe and don't jump on first suggestions as things change daily.
Good advice. thumbs up
OK, conservatives, tell me again how we don't need environmental-protection laws.
