Do I care if they live or die?

In my opinion, anti vaxers and Covid conspiracy theorists are just like suicide bombers, their aim is to promote their crackpot theories and take as many non believers with them as possible. Below is a link to a newspaper article that appears today in The Daily Mail, an interview with a REAL doctor, not some fraud being sued by the institute he claims to work for for falsely claiming he works there, this a proper doctor at the sharp end of Covid ICU unit, his interview has no political affiliations, there is no mention of right or left, just the reality of what anti vaxers are doing to his patients. My hope is someone on here who may have been swayed by the garbage I've seen on these blogs of late will read it and think twice.
So do I care if they live or die, well as far as most conspiracy theorists go we can all have a good laugh at the drivel they come up with, but in this case it's actually costing lives ( please read the article), so no I don't care, I have a feeling the world would be a better place without them.

Jac, I'm not sure you can appeal to the humane side of someone who cares only about themselves. Most people are selfish but they are also reasonable and given the choice would help their fellow citizens, but there are a few that are so caught up in their own blinked vision of life that to show an ounce of compassion would leave them dry-mouthed and gasping for air like a fish left on a riverbank.
But respect for tryingcheers

The blog was deleted as Bohemian Jack responded for some reason instead of you.We are at odds so do not shoot the messenger. You've got mail.
I don't think I'm appealing to others' humanity, Riz.

I'm asking a fair and pragmatic question.

For those who choose their right not to be vaccinated, what measures are they taking to ensure the human rights of those who choose to be vaccinated, or those who have no choice due to circumstances?
Can you ask a fair and pragmatic question to anyone who doesn't give a flying fig about anyone else?
My answer still stands,
If they did answer, would it most likely be a lie?
Jac, wave wine
D, I wouldn't want to be in your brother's shoes if that happens help laugh

Thank you for the kind words wine
I was Jab Hesitant.
I did Extreme Shutdown - getting food & staying home.

Apparently brought home a side order of Covid on one outting.
It wasn't a picnic, but I've had Worse & am still on this side of the sod.

Natural IMMUNITY is better than a Jab that lasts 6-8 Months and Moderates SYMPTOMS while allowing the Jab-ee to SPREAD the virus ala Typhoid Mary. A Jabbed friend developed Guillain-Barré symptomrs & is now Greatly(!! Immobilized.
We Both make use of my Antibodies - I now get groceries for Both of us.

Whilst I appreciate your cautiousness Mic, if you can pick up covid getting groceries, then you can spread it getting groceries.

I realise most of us have been grocery shopping and it hasn't always been possible to get deliveries due to demand, but perhaps there's an ethical difference between those who get the jab at the earliest opportunity and thse who chose not to.

I too had a side order of covid from grocery shopping and had the disease mildly. How did you establish that you were totally and permanently immune following your mild infection?
An update on the mystery comments made a while back on mails etc.

I have now received a mail, it seems it came through a third party so not sure who sent it or why who ever sent it couldn't send it themselves confused Anyway it's a link to a TicToc vid in which Pfizer CEO Albert Bourla is being interviewed about not having had the vaccine, he states his age and explains he doesn't want to jump the queue, it's obvious it's been cropped to remove the date, however a friend researched it for me and it's from "CNBC on Dec. 14, three days after the U.S. Food and Drug Administration issued the first emergency use authorization for the Pfizer-BioNTech COVID-19 vaccine."
Good on the man for not jumping the queue, something some Spanish politicians could learn a lesson from, quite why anyone would want to send such an obviously old interview is still a mystery.
You didn't answer my question, Mic.

How did you establish that you were totally and permanently immune following your mild infection?
*mild infection - I'd Not describe it as MILD -
There's Evidence (Covid Toe) I'd developed micro-blood clots, O2 exchange was compromised & a couple times I thought the hounds would get the fox.
As noted in my previous comment, "it wasn't a Picnic".

A younger person I know had it & didn't Know it - That, I'd describe as a MILD Infection.

There are No ABSOLUTES, of course, and I've heard Reports of mild Covid Delta cases following Covid Recovery.
I imagine Breakthrough cases have been Observed with ANY Disease/immunity.

The Article in the Peer Reviewed journal, 'Nature' cited in my comment above roll eyes indicates my Immunity to Covid may be as Robust & Durable as my Immunity from having had Chicken Pox as a Kid ... One & DONE.

Compare the length of the Question to that of the Response.

Patience is a Virtue.
Just sayin' ... smile

BTW -
The person who had the Very MILD case has gotten Jabbed - Prob'ly Strongly urged to do so as Employment involves contact with kids & their parents Feeeel better -
And is doing OK So Far.

I'm not in a position where I'm in frequent & close contact with kids -
I Avoid 'em like they're Spreaders of ALL KINDS of Disease - Which they ARE.

When I had covid symptoms back in April 2020 it was no picnic, either. It was painful and frightening.

It was still mild. I got off lightly, recovering with no medical intervention, or hospitalisation.

In August 2020 I had another viral infection involving a cough and fever, but it didn't seem so obviously like covid. I self-isolated from the first 'ahem' as a precaution, but by the time I thought it was maybe a second dose of covid it was too late to get a test in the post and I wasn't going to get on a bus to go to the testing centre.

I don't know for sure, but it's not beyond the realms of possibility that I had it twice. There have been some recorded incidents of people getting it twice.

Although there is some emerging evidence that the disease may lead to long term, or even permanent immunity, there is also evidence that suggests it's not guaranteed.

It looks to me like you've picked the outcome which best suits you, rather than actually having any direct knowledge.
The Article in the Peer Reviewed journal,, 'Nature', cited in my comment above roll eyes supports what I've been saying.

This began at the top of this page with a request for Personal Experiences.
I provided Mine & have responded to queries, but this is now circular, redundant and, well ... Tedious.

Y'all may now rejoin your respective Echo Chambers and resume Self-Righteous Posturing & Pointless Name Calling.

If that goes Stale Here - It's starting Afresh & getting New Life @ ...
