Do I care if they live or die?
In my opinion, anti vaxers and Covid conspiracy theorists are just like suicide bombers, their aim is to promote their crackpot theories and take as many non believers with them as possible. Below is a link to a newspaper article that appears today in The Daily Mail, an interview with a REAL doctor, not some fraud being sued by the institute he claims to work for for falsely claiming he works there, this a proper doctor at the sharp end of Covid ICU unit, his interview has no political affiliations, there is no mention of right or left, just the reality of what anti vaxers are doing to his patients. My hope is someone on here who may have been swayed by the garbage I've seen on these blogs of late will read it and think twice.So do I care if they live or die, well as far as most conspiracy theorists go we can all have a good laugh at the drivel they come up with, but in this case it's actually costing lives ( please read the article), so no I don't care, I have a feeling the world would be a better place without them.

ana_g, that comment just goes to show how little you understand, I know loads of older people, very few are scared by Covid, I'm certainly not, in any event I can avoid contact if I choose to, it's my concern for the younger generation that prompted this blog, if a large enough percentage don't have the vaccine it will continue to prosper forever, it may well do that anyway, it's the younger people who will be most affected both by effects of constant lockdowns but also likely by variants, which by the very nature of viruses will no doubt find a way of infecting younger people, it's what they do.

Rose, as you well know that comment was about what viruses do and nothing whatsoever to do with giving children vaccine, viruses evolve, the fact the young are less affected at this time doesn't meant they always will be, when the virus runs out of old people to infect it will adapt and move on, the only reason the Spanish flu died out was it ran of victims, but this one has the edge there in that it can get you again it seems.

I trust you realise that it's your millions of years old immune system that actually kills you, so if you want to rely on that good luck.

I suppose deciding not to have the virus is easier when you live in a country that this week went into lockdown after one case was detected, however the downside to that is as the virus may well be with us forever just how are you planning on paying for anything? Under the current way the world works an economy needs to produce something, if all the workers are locked down how do you plan on doing that?
