Today is national grand parents day
Its a new one on me
but its what I'm just after hearing on the radio.
The idea behind it is share and express your gratitude of them, how they are or once were ...
or so me thinks
Given both of my grand mothers were stern witches....
and both my grand fathers had the view " children were meant to be seen and not heard" at the moment I can't think of anything nice to say, so perhaps its best I leave the comments up to you...
that is, if any at all.

with a lovely recipe passed down to me by one of my grand mothers....

they became different folk too, but not with the stories more like with their sessions instead, as in musical along with the drinking ones as well. One of my uncles was a famous shanog singer, so there was always quiet a good crowd.
Back then I suppose by day they were busy working the land but by night....
