Pickleball...

One of my neighbors has a bumper sticker that reads: Pickleball Let's Play. A few times a month I see a news link with claims that Pickleball is becoming the fastest growing sport.
If you don't know the game, it's a cross between tennis and ping-pong. The court is smaller than tennis, the racquets/paddles are larger than ping-pong. Often played as a doubles game. It gives the quick reaction to a familiar sport with less injury than conventional tennis.

Drew Brees vs. John McEnroe

I haven't seen John McEnroe in years. He's 64 years old now and looks terrible!!

The courts in my neighborhood are booked days in advance when the snowbirds arrive. Not so much now. Who can in this heatwave?

Myself, I stick to walking at least 5 miles a day and using the gym.

I don’t think John looks that bad...we all get grey hair as we age...he could definitely use a trim of the eyebrows though....

Also, he is a good sport making fun of himself and his temper tantrum’s on the court.
ALSO CHECK :WRIST INJURIES OF SENIORS ^
fractures, slips, strains, falls, and such
not part of normal life so i will pass the pickle and just bike and walk.
I haven't checked, but I think there are some pickleball courts in my community.
McEnroe will never change from being a serious clown. Great guy. laugh
Why aren't the balls pickles?

Where are the pickles?
The pickles are on the red Big Macs signs where any self-respecting Burger fan lobs them as soon as the burger is unwrapped. (Not that a big mac eater has much self-respect however)
Summed that up in a nutshell devil thumbs up

laugh
Disregard the devil that shouldn't be thete
Speaking of pickles... On Sunday, I went to lunch with friends at a Jewish Deli. Before the meals arrived, they brought out some rye bread and a plate of sliced pickles.
The bread was good, I avoided the pickles.
Wally, yes for some. For others it's LESS physical strain than tennis.
Mentioned on my blog about CBD oil, I had a client in her mid 60's who was waiting for knee replacement surgery and she was an avid pickleball player.
You should of slapped cheese & pickles on the rye bread

Why is it called Pickle Ball?
