Red light. Red light. How annoying !

There's been some changes around here lately and some of them are good
but at least one of them is very annoying.

It's the change in our red highlight of our mailbox !

You log on with your ID name and your secret password, C..A..T..
Whoops. That's not it.
Anyway, you log on and there is your mailbox, lit up in red like a present on Christmas.

So, you click on it to see who is attempting to contact you. There are about 8 messages. 5 are from scammers, 2 are from friends and one is from a special lady
who makes your heart beat wildly

So, naturally, you answer the scammers first.
Just kidding Honey.
Anyway, you click on all the messages and reply to those
who merit your attention.

Then, you click on "blogs", because you're done, right ?
Wrong ! The mailbox is still red. So, you click on "mailbox" and there's no new messages. Why is the damn thing still red ?? Is it the work of the devil
From reading some of the blogs on here, I'm guessing some might think so.

So, you click back on blogs and read a few and comment on those who merit your time & attention 30 minutes later, the damn mailbox is still red. So, just in case, you click back on it. People have e-mailed you and are saying "I see you are online, why aren't you responding to my e-mails."

To the powers that be, please fix that damn thing !
It used to not be red, when there were no new messages.
Now there is some LONG delay before the red goes back to white.
Whoever screwed this up should be forced to fix it, or walk the plank into a sea of scammers.
