What were we thinking? lol

Who remembers the 80s with the big hair and uhggg...shoulder pads? Do you have pics like I do where your hair didn't fit in the whole shot? How about the neon colors?lol

The love ballets that made the girls melt

The big hair bands that looked kind of like girls but we (girls) thought they were "hot."lol

To me its all about the music, the big hair and the style was a little funny but the music was great.

The music.....I still remember listening to bands like Poison and Bon jovi and thinking to myself: "This is the best time of my life"

The 80s did have a certain "feel" to them that can never be brought back again. I guess each decade has a different feel to it...the styles change , the music....ect.

but when you're 19 it is the best time of your life.

All those styles Lana came back like the leggings with long shirts except the hair of course! But for me it was about all the heavy metal bands I liked like Bon Jovi(Jon was so gorgeous; still is in fact), Guns n' Roses, Scorpions, AC/DC, etc.

About 80% of the music I listen to is from the 80s. My guitar sound and style is 80s, even the guitar itself though being made in 92, is typical 80s style. Pointy headstock and floating bridge

Jana, Yes I guess the innocence goes with time, however we do become more realistic and compatable as we age . Well at least some of us do . Even though you where drop dead beautiful back then, I'll still take the one you are now . . . . . . . . .

I have more real good memories of the 90', but the 80' were fun also. I was very much in the new wave then...Cure, Clash, Souchie & the Banchees, Depeche Mode, U2 etc...I remember I first heard this Ozzi band...the Stranglers

Actually the fashion of the 80s was quite cheesy and tasteless. But we were young and pretty so everything looked great on us!

For me the most classy women's fashion was from the 40s, 50s, and 60s! Glad some elements of the extremely feminine 60s came back lately...
