Other people's Comments
Everyone makes comments on other people's blogs. We don't always agree or disagree on the subject matter, so we make a comment. Well this morning, a blogger who wrote a blog, deleted me because I didn't agree with him. WOW!!!! What a temper. He needs to grow up and smell the roses! This guy always tries to come across as a "mister nice guy". This hasn't happened to me since when I first came on CS a few yrs ago.IMO, if you don't want a negative comment to your blog; then only write positive stuff! Hellllllo!

From what I now from you, you seem like a pretty grounded person. However, we must respect everyone's boundaries. :) I am sure you know that.
Another thing, some of us do show our "best" side in public. It is a bit like acting. Actually....lol....it is acting. :) Usually in time, their true colors show. From the way it sounds, you got a glimpse of some color with this "gentleman."
Everybody has there own opinion.
You are nice not to delete others' posts.
However
The original blogger has the right to delete others' posts. So, I really do not see an issue. I think if you would have an issue with him deleting your post, you should take that up with CS. Just my opinion.

I don't always agree with people. I have my own opinion too! And so do they. That's why it's called an opinion. But! I don't argue about it either. Because it doesn't matter to me.
But! I still treat people with respect! It's just an opinion.

I do not agree with whoever told you that. If you don't want comments on your blog...check the no comments box before you post your blog. Simple! Another way, if your comments get deleted, is to write a blog addressing that subject and give your feelings!

They say the blogs are here to help you see the real person, personally I saw enough of this blogger with his first blog about 9 months ago to make my decision
Ur blog has given me the oportunity to air the matter. According to me what he has been doing is grossly wrong. It has been stretching over weeks till I posted 2 comments after each other and while he was deleting the first everone could see the second and noted it. Thus if u don't want comments good or bad don't write a blog requesting comments.
Seems you picked up on it to. I saw thru this guy many months ago.

One has to be strong, to deal with it. As long as one be careful on what they say! Everything that people say on the internet period, is recorded. People just have to be careful on what they say. Because! It can come back to hunt them.

A long time ago! My comment got deleted. Guess what?.... I Just Didn't Care!
Some comments, that I do make. At times! I don't even go back to look at it. Maybe because I be busy playing a card game. Or I just forgot about it.....
I think we all can take a negative comment here and there...like ek says, we can look at it from a learning perspective...I have threatened a blogger that I would delete his comments only because he was crude and not interested in the discourse...just behaving like an idiot to throw the topic of conversation off course...disagreeing does not mean your being disrespectful...
I agree! Disagreeing is not being disrespectful! Hey, we have all disagreed with each other at one time or another and I am sure we will do so in the future! I don't lose respect or dislike someone because they disagree, unless they get personal.

However, any blogger has a CS given right to delete any comment they feel like.
I accept that right and the fact that sometimes it may even be one of my own comments deleted. Ce la vie.
I reserve the right to delete any comment I feel like deleting whenever I feel like deleting it if it is in my own blog.
Historically it has been rare for me to do so, and the last time I recall doing so was because two bloggers started saying not nice things about each other on one of my blogs and continuing a personal clash against each other into MY blog (also some other peoples). Others must have felt the same way about their antics in other blogs and emails because they were deleted from CS a few days later anyway.
I also reserve the right to delete any blog of my own in entirety any time I feel like it.
Again that is rare, but sometimes I do it.
I meant, on deleting comments, "in itself it is a lack of respect".
