Have I lost the plot ?
I've got into the habit of watching the BBC News when I eat dinner, recently whenever I have dinner and the time varies on whether I'm hungry, it's Sportsday & not news, as this mainly consists of football (soccer) I'm not the slightest bit interested, football used to be Saturdays but now it's every day of the week
On the actual news this week a piece about football 
Sky TV & BT have paid £5.136 billion for rights to show football games live, Sky paid the bulk at £4.176 billion, that's for 126 matches a season for 3 years 
Now on Facebook today I saw this on my wall -

Has the world gone mad, where a UK footballer can be paid half a million pounds a week to kick a ball around but the UK prime-minister is on £142,500 A YEAR, or am I the one

Also I dont think it goes with one out of four People,it's more the society,that is mentally unbalanced and that is also why footballers are payd so much!

As for prime-ministers wages, I'd be glad if our one only paid himself 142k, he pays himself more than double that...cos we are such a rich country!
that it what I was meaning about the Prime ministers in the West,the best guys is in Business or other high paid works and are not even looking in the direction of Politics....most politicans is loosers,that could get A only in telling lies.

Know what you mean about salaries, round here it's not unknown for the mayor of a one horse village to pay himself twice that of the PM
crazy people are the inventors of such crazy prices and payouts..But i have always said its a crazy world we live in, so even if you have lost the plot alittle it may help living init abit more easier, if you know what i mean

I would suggest the come to Africa to learn. The politicians in Africa earn up to ten times as much in countries that does not have 10% of the economic power of Britain. And that includes my own country. Your politicians worry too much about minor details like corruption and bribery.
