That's not quite what I had in mind for a group hug, Al.
Huge businesses, side by side and feeding off those with next to nothing, or nothing.
Yet we seem to have more of a negative and emotional response to religious institutions (who take part in business) than business institutions (who take part in religion).

@ Lou... that's poingent, that thing about the misuse of religion coming between ordinary folk.
just so you know I have a very kind heart...full of love to give, I won't mind sharing some of them to AL.

I am not against religion...some actually do help others in need...but we cannot ignore the fact that some of the religious hierarchy benefited financially and turned their cheek at illegal activities...

Thanks for your comment...it appears that many use religion to justify their misdeeds...we need to be aware that sometimes religious groups/cults are not in our best interest...they harm...
The holy books, likewise, were written by PEOPLE. Supposedly inspired by God himself...but bottom line, they were written by people, interpreted by people, and translated by......people. With all of the mistakes that people make. That is why the bible is so full of the CUSTOMS of the times that they were written in. And that is why some books were later removed...maybe some passages as well. So it is NOT INFALLIBLE. However, I think there are some truths and wisdom within, here and there, and the prophecies are interesting. Seems to be some hidden codes within as well.
Whatever they are good or not although, I am thinking them like the bridges connecting us with God, that God sending to humans,so don't stop on the bridges to get upset or the anger because God would/will do that. And my job is walking on them with a few or a lot the thanks to them..., and look ahead, my goal: God loving and the Kingdom of Paradise. Yeah!
Sad but many use religion as a tool to dominate others...and make money...it perhaps should be seen as a cult...
Thanks for your comments...many people of such cults...believe that the government is evil including police and others not like them...that is what creates power...and the inability to seek help...
