Lying about age.
From memory, I can’t recall ever being in contact with someone on CS that didn’t lie about his or her age.Although I now state my correct age, for quite a while my profile stated I was 60, although at the time I was only 58. My reasons for this were I felt I would be more appealing to the age group of women I was trying to attract.
So, my question is....
Does stating a certain age have an effect on the age group of people that you contact, or contact you?

All my life I have looked older than my age, for some of us thats the way things are. As the phrase goes.... It's not the age, its the milage.

It is because the hope to attract someone where they don't fall into these people's search criteria. I went on 2 dates with guys who lied about their age (wouldn't have met them otherwise), but didn't see them again. Thanks for wasting my time.
