CS Soaps - pilot episode

Meet Angelica, beautiful and exotic, wanting to meet Mr Perfect, rich, faithful, loving. Instead she got Rupert who is at least honest. Well, sometimes honest. But she doesn’t know the sometimes bit. She is enjoying taking her time over the decision, should they, shouldn’t they, testing him , it’s all a bit exciting. Is she going to make Christmas the time his loyalty and devotion is rewarded?

Meet Gerda. She wants Rupert, flaws and all. She does his shopping, she pops by with cakes, she irons his stuff, oh, and it took a bit of plotting and conniving but now she greases his pole. Softee softee catchee monkey.

Meet Rupert. He’s pretty happy right now. Angelica is oh-so-nearly within his grasp, about to fall like the succulent peach that she is into his hand. And good old Gerda is the best buddy a man-in- waiting could have, she knows the score and he believes she’s fine with the way things are.

And of course old Goody Two-Shoes is peering through the net curtains and absolutely agog.

Just as Angelica is about to take a bite of a particularly sugar laden strawberry, Mr. Perfect comes to the door. He sees Gerda quickly leaving and wonders about her briefly. Even though he is stunningly good looking himself and understands Angelica's shallow nature, he always wondered what it would be like to have a plain woman who completely adored him. A little overweight but possibly a very good cook! He thought, eying her figure from behind.

Angelica swooshed open the door, the strawberry falling from her hand. "Halo!" she cried nervously, trying to hide the bounteous strawberry plate behind on a vase on a nearby table. "I didn't expect you."

"Hello, sugar," Mr. Perfect whispered sweetly. "Or is that something else on your lips?" laugh teddybear
The love of a good woman will always turn the balance. Rupert suddenly notices Gerda embodies many good qualities, not to mention that her ironing makes him look a million dollars. And Angelica would cost a FORTUNE to run. He is swayed - torn. Decisions, decisions.

Unfortunately neither of them have realized that Angelica, behind that beautiful face, is a sociopath. If he chooses Gerda, Angelica will be sharpening a knife hidden in the back of a cupboard and brought out only every few years.

Just as the train leaves, a paddle steamer arrives. An elderly African guy clambers off. Its Gerdas father. Upon seeing Gerda, he launches into his familiar spiel about needing money to collect his luggage. Gerda sees an opportunity and tells him she needs some money for her fiduciary agent to release her car from the carpark. One of the grandkids cheerily announces there is a package at UPS and if they can pay 637 Euros for the postage things will be sweet. But at that time another child announces that there is a problem with windows and they need his credit card details. But then another child pipes up cheerily that they've won 158 million Egyptian rupees in the lottery but need 1600 pounds for the release fee. But then all of a sudden, yet another child announces they are the beneficiary to an estimated 30 million US dollars in oil revenue but need $2460 in bribes but dont tell anybody.
