World police ?..Great Country ?...Ford mustang is
I put this under the heading of..ComedyLike a lot of Americans, each morning in elementary and high school, I to stand up before the U.S. flag, put my hand on my heart, and pledge allegiance to the United States of America. While it was a mindless routine for most of us, the meaning behind the ritual was clear: that the U.S. was exceptional, a beacon of liberty and justice in the world. But after considering the trail of blood, coups and bombs that continues to follow the U.S. flag wherever it flies, it’s safe to say that the U.S. is exceptional in many things; liberty and justice are not among them.
Take the following statistics: Roughly 405,000 people have been killed as a result of the violence and infrastructure damage of the U.S.-led War in Iraq. The U.S. is number two, behind Russia, in its nuclear weapons stockpile, with 7,400 warheads (Third is France, with 300.) The U.S. leads the world in military spending, with more than $7.6 trillion spent on the military and homeland security since 9/11. Washington is also a major threat to its own citizens: the U.S. is the world’s largest incarcerator of people, both in numbers and in proportion to its population, with 2.3 million in prison, 1 million of whom are African American.
Much of the violence around the world today can be linked back to U.S. imperial adventures abroad. The rise of ISIS in Iraq has been traced to the US war in the country. In an article on ISIS leader Abu Bakr al-Baghdadi, the New York Times explained, “At every turn, Mr. Baghdadi’s rise has been shaped by the United States’ involvement in Iraq – most of the political changes that fueled his fight, or led to his promotion, were born directly from some American action.” As far as the recent terrorist attack in France, University of Michigan History Professor Juan Cole writes that one of the attackers was pushed toward “fundamentalist vigilanteism” by the war in Iraq and by Abu Ghraib torture. The wave of drug war-related violence sweeping Latin America is also directly tied to the U.S. role in militarizing the region in the name of the war on drugs, a conflict which since 2006 has taken over 100,000 lives in Mexico alone.

War is a business...and all presidents campaigns are funded...
Trump as far as I know is the only person that if he became president will not be a puppet to campaign contributors...

YouTube War Is A Racket General Smedley Butler
BTW - General Butler was the most decorated U.S. Marine at the time of his death...two time recipient of the Medal of Honor.
I presume he knew whereof he spoke.
He also revealed a corporate plot to overthrow the U.S. Government.

Kennedy was the same..look at that outcome..
I think us people of this country need to start wising up a bit and start taking our country back and making of, for, and by the people.
It is not only the US...many countries have pillaged for profit...but I do think people need to be outspoken in regards to politics...remember that to have a voice is a new concept for some...
Spain Greece Italy, are they or should I say would they be doing what the top 3 most powerful countries in the world have been doing..unless we asked them to, part of Nato
A lot of Americans don't really have a clue about what's really going on, the media is part of the problem.
War is profit...Look at other countries such as Zimbabwe, there is no profit to be made so no intervention, its not just America, all other so called superpowers are the same.
erm...
One of our current democratic candidates, Bernie Sanders, is shaking things up a bit. He is bringing out a lot of this information to the public. It is something how some things he brings up in the debate against Clinton (like her $600,000.00 speaking fees for a big bank) and she cannot deny them.
or
How Sanders says that all these big corporations are not giving huge campaign donations for nothing. They are expecting favors in the future.
Bernie Sanders has not raised any money from big business. At this point, he has got over 3 million different donations, averaging $27.00 each, from everyday common people. He refuses to take donations from big businesses.
That is why I support him....and that is why so many "superdelegates" have supported Clinton.
but of course we don't all know the answers...let's see if I can find stupid people in New Zealand..wait i've found them..they are call "The British"...
If we don't take time to learn about other countries, see different cultures and read more we are as guilty of being ignorant and brainwashed as any other..
I can't see change happening in the near future whilst as Johhny mentioned candidates for government are "bought" by big business, and whilst I fully appreciate any government's role is to look after it's own people first & foremost, that can't be at any cost to other nations
