It's that time of year where some of us will be going to some Halloween costume party.

I had a fellow employees ask me if I were going to any of them this year, and if so, what who or what would I be going as. Well, I thought about it, and if I did go to a Halloween costume party, I would go as ....ready for this......here it goes....




.......JOAN JETT! Of course I was kidding at first, but then I thought, hmmmm, I do have the hair for it, so maybe.....but that's if I did go to one. I did have a co worker who was working security nearby say that I could probably pull it off. I think that would be interesting to go as Joan Jett. I was a fan of hers growing up, so sure, why not.

If any of you have plans on going to a Halloween party this year, feel free to share who or what you would be going as, and why?

As for past Halloween parties, love to hear how you were dressed as for them.

New computer this week running Windows 10 Pro and updated Microsoft Edge started some things I didn't notice on my older computer it replaced.
I'm online making a purchase and when I get to the cart to review, banners fly out to show the same items elsewhere at a lower cost.
Amazon and Walmart, but the savings were less than a dollar per item.
Since my purchase with this vendor has free shipping over $100, it makes no sense to break an order up to 3 vendors. Kinda like spending a dollar to save a dime. Triple billing, triple deliveries, triple order tracking.

Actually, the annoying part is Microsoft getting into my online purchasing. It may have been there in my previous computer (running Windows 10 with Edge) but I never noticed the banners before.

My computer is spying on me...

I should heed my own advice about changing out old computer parts. Two computers failed last month and are being replaced. The good thing is the hard drives are intact and I'm able to save most of the data contained on them.

Unfortunately, some licensed programs I got free cannot be replaced or would now require payment.

I found a 2gig spare video card and installed into a spare computer I haven't used in a while and now, it's giving error messages. The drivers are updated but I'm unable to troubleshoot... for lack of time. It's quicker to remove the video card and revert back to the onboard video.

I tried removing 4 gigs of RAM from a dead computer and put into a computer with 4gigs expecting 8 gigs... it won't boot now, so I reverted back to a working computer with 4 gigs.

If it's not broken... don't (try to) fix it.

Okay, Okay... no more swapping parts and upgrades... for today.
Tomorrow is a different story!

The UN has reported that the detention of Uyghur Muslims is a crime against humanity. There is evidence of torture, sterilisation, forced medical treatment, separation from families etc.
The report says that these people should be released.
China, of course, denies any such activity.

Do you guys prefer to see women in tights, stockings, tattoos or perhaps bare legs? Or maybe legs that are not exposed at all? Is it a question of what suits the wearer and the length of skirt or dress?

The sexiest dance in my opinion is belly dancing performed professionally. I suggest you view Diva Darina on u tube, and check her out yourself. Let me have your opinion.

The earth's core produces constant heat. If you drill down you can extract this heat and have a constant source of hot water to create energy. The used water can be returned and reheated, so you have a constant loop of cool water going down and hot water coming up. To enable the extraction on an industrial scale, the oil and gas companies have the expertise to do the drilling. The product is green. The only risks are earthquakes. But these can be avoided and reduced to small quakes which are controlled if they occur.

If this reaction could be achieved and sustained, it could save humanity from climate change. It would produce limitless energy and no greenhouse gases or long life radio active waste.
