FBI searches Donald Trump’s Mar-A-Lago Resort...

The top story is/was the FBI Raiding Donald Trump’s Mar-A-Lago Resort.
News at 11.
I can hardly wait to hear why the FBI would want to visit Mar-a-Lago.

EDIT:
Although the headlines read raid, the FBI conducted a SEARCH with warrant.
I'm amending the title of my blog to correctly reflect this.

Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis and guns at public events...

There's talk about Ron DeSantis hosting rallies for Republicans across the country. I believe he may be attempting a 2024 presidential run and on the road doing these rallies.

In the past, Ron has argued 'gun-free' zones are less safe. Good Ron, then allow guns at the rallies you are appearing. I see a quandary here as many event organizers prohibit guns at their venues.

We didn’t kill each other!

And we made it to the 3rd year! applause

Today’s our 3rd wedding anniversary. A few months before I arrived in the US in 2019, I had already decided I wanted our courthouse wedding to be on 8th August, for 2 reasons.

- I know how bad Art ( and most men grin ) is with dates and I wanna make it easy for him to remember our wedding date ( and my wedding anniversary gift/s laugh ) therefore I chose 8.8

- 8 is a lucky for us Chinese and is associated with wealth.

We need all the luck ( and wealth too! love ) in the world to make this marriage work! It’s not easy being born 2.5 decades apart.

Listening to different genre of music. Well, it’s him that can’t tolerate my choice of music mumbling very mad

Different upbringing. Different religion. Different food. Different cultures. Different beliefs.

A lot of times I’ve been tempted to perform some sleep study on him. MiMi’s version is smothering him with a pillow drinking I bet there were many a time when we were having an argument, he would’ve wanted to spend the night at the shed, errrrr……I mean, the hotel grin

We might have all those differences, but we also have a lot of laughs between us. Every morning, he fills up my water container for me. He makes sure I have my dental and health insurance well taken care of. He sneaks my favorite chips into our shopping cart. He’s concern about my son’s wellbeing, and my daughter’s too even though she’s thousands of miles away. Above it all, he respects my friends. He’s nice to them and will go all out to make them ( especially the ones that I really really like! ) happy because he knows that will make his MiMi happy too.

A good marriage is one that makes room for love, patience, understanding, truth, as well as all your shoes, clothes, and bags. Happy anniversary to my husband who lets me have all the room that I want.

Traveler Meltdown at Customs...

I watched a handful of Border Security videos yesterday and came up with the feeling (like the UFO Hunter movies) they were all Staged. Perfectly filmed using professional actors.

The video attached is the Canadian version, border patrol and Airport customs. Interesting stories about procedures and determination of who gets through.

On another episode, a European woman who had previously worked in Canada with a proper work visa was returning with a tourist visa. They asked her if she intended to work while in Canada and she stated no. Security called her 2 previous employers, they both said they were expecting her. Due to not having a work visa and lied to security, she was denied entry for one year and had to return back home.

Honest opinion about money

How do you feel when someone says: "money is everything".

More importantly how does one react to someone who's motivation is all about money?

I know for a fact that 10% of the world's population has no problem about money. Musk, Soros, Besos, Bates are all in that category. But I also know that about three quarter of the world's population live under the injustice of poverty. Which means having no money.

Should we all be focused on making money? Don't get me wrong. I know how easy life can be with a lot of money but I never ever considered money as everything. Maybe I should.

Note: Atlas Shrugged by Ayn Rand holds the highest influence in my life.

Another note: Communist and socialist countries can't make money as their goal, can they?

Your opinion, contributions and ideas are all appreciated.

Thank you.

Retreading truck tires aka Car Rental...

Truck tires are treated differently than car tires. Car tires usually get discarded or chopped and recycled into other rubber products. Big truck tires for 18-wheelers are more expensive and get recapped when worn. The process takes a worn tire and puts a new layer of tread shaped and glued to the original core. The process is safety approved, but not perfect. Sometimes, the entire retread tire belt begins to delaminate, bits shred off and breaks loose from the tire core. Considering the numbers of trucks on the roads and you've done highway driving, you've probably seen parts of truck tires on the roadway.

While driving on the highway a few weeks ago, the car adjacent to me hit some shredded pieces of truck tire that flew up and hit the front of my car just under the bumper and grill. One piece was so large that it flipped around the tire and pulled away some of the cowling in the wheel well.

I reported this to the Highway Patrol and also my insurance company who assigned it to an authorized body shop near me. Dropping my car off, they arranged the rental company to pick me up to get a rental car covered under my insurance plan.

I'm into a Toyota Camry this week that's got 46,000 miles and very acceptable as a rental. I did a short highway trip and was totally surprised to be getting 41 miles per gallon! It didn't have all the features that my car has (like map & GPS, mirror warning lights when cars are approaching on my blind spot, keyless entry) but my last car didn't have those features either.

This week I've got several outside appointments and should be okay with gas mileage.

I pulled up a YouTube video of the process used to retread truck tires. The part I didn't like is the seam where the join at the wrap. Until I saw the video, I would have expected the entire recap to be one seamless piece pulled over the old core. It's deemed as a safe process.

It appears that Alex Jones will be getting a DOUBLE WHAMMY...

Infowars host Alex Jones appearing in court this week for the Sandy Hook Defamation trial didn't go well. The court ordered he must pay $4.1 million to the Sandy Hook parents of the victims.
Anticipating things to turn sour, he filed bankruptcy last Friday and gets subpoena for fraud.
That's a double whammy.

But wait! There's more... he's also being subpoenaed for his role in the insurrection.
You know one on January 6th that didn't happen!

I smell a TRIPLE WHAMMY...

Let that soak in as Lady Karma has been watching while he sleeps!

Our experience(s) in dating here at CS or anywhere

Maybe some of us on here have anything to share about our journey in finding the "one".

Considering all the fake profiles, scammers they are called, what truly is our chances of finding him/her on this site? Or anywhere for that matter.

I have met and found whom I thought was the one 9 years ago here. Although our distance was more than 7,000 miles apart we didn't get discouraged because what we felt from the first skype was so strong and wonderful that we didn't think of any hurdles we had to face.
Anyways I went to his place about three times and he came to my place about two times. To cut the story short, for me, it was the most interesting, adventurous and wonderful part of my life.

I read somewhere that the difficulty of meeting a real partner here isn't as easy as meeting them in family gatherings, church or the conventional and normal introduction before the web. What's with all of those mentally crazy, drug addicts, or simply players that are not who they claim they are. Married pretending to be single, and more discouraging characters which by the time you find out, has already caused you a lot of emotional roller coaster.

Well for me, I am no longer looking. I'm way past that. But meeting good friends both male or female, to me is a plus.

What about you? Please feel free to share your stories if you want. Maybe we can all learn from it.

Note: I know about six couples who have met here, still married and happy. A couple from NZ and India, From Northern Thailand and England (my best friends, he passed away , blessed his soul). From Philippines and NZ, From NY and England, From France and CH, and also our very own Mimi from Malaysia now happily living in Nebraska. The first three couples I met them 8 years ago still very happily married.
