Gender Identification - What does that even mean?

Gender Identification

What the heck does that even mean?
So you were born as a boy but you identify as a woman.
Wrong
Either you were born with a (I bet you think I'm going to say something that rhymes with 'trick' don't you?) Y chromosome, or you were not born with a Y chromosome.
It's as simple as that.

If you walk into a doctor's office and ask the doctor to remove a perfectly good leg because you want to be identified as a one legged person, the doctor would say that you are nuts and throw you out of his office.

However if you are a man and walk into a doctor's office and tell him that you want him to remove a perfectly good p*nis because you want to identify yourself as a woman, he would have you referred to a therapist to see if you are mentally ill or gender dysphoric.

You would then go through hormone injections to lose hair on the face and enlerge the breasts.

You would then go through the process of changing your name and ID cards to make it look as if you are living as a woman.

All along you still have a p*nis and all of your Y chromosomes that you were born with.

Now you are considered 'Transgendered' but you are still a man.

You cannot claim that you are a female when you are born as a man.

Ben Shapiro makes the argument in the video below.

So in the end, if your name right after birth was Robert, and you want to be called Rebecca, then that's your right. However as long as you have that Y chromosome, well then sorry, you are still a male like it or not.

Lazy Days of Summer

Summer, the time of year here where everyone spends as much time outdoors soaking up as much Vitamin D as possible, taking advantage of the dry conditions to do all those things that our usual sogginess makes difficult, or not quite so enjoyable.

This weekend the agrifair is on in my old community, with the RCMP musical ride being one of the attractions. I just love their red serge coats contrasting with their black horses. I'll have to find out exactly where the musical ride is being held, indoors or out, so I can plan accordingly. My Mom has always revered the RCMP, probably because her father was a Northwest Mounted Police Officer (now the RCMP) when he immigrated from England in 1906.

Mom has a wonderful photo album of her father in uniform on horseback. One of my favourites is of him and a chief from a First Nations tribe at an expo, trading clothing. My grandfather looked hilarious in the chief's pants that were far too short for him.

My grandfather died of cancer when Mom was 12, having gotten hit with a piece of shrapnel in WWI, which they removed after they opened him up to operate. They didn't end up operating, other than to remove the shrapnel as the cancer had spread through his entire body. That's a young age to lose a dad, and it's no wonder she idolized him.

The RCMP musical ride must bring back memories of her father for her, and it's always a joy to watch their precision and formations on horseback. I remember one year, quite awhile ago, one of the officers fell off his horse during their ride. How embarrassing! He took it in good stride though, got back on and carried on. What else are you going to do?

Thankfully it's much cooler than it was earlier this week, which I'm certain is as welcome for the RCMP and their horses as much as it is for the audience. As Mom is 92 on the 12th, I'll take her to the ride for her birthday, providing she wants to go. She's not one to really like crowds due to her limited sight. She may not even want to go to the musical ride due to it, although I asked her a month ago and she said yes.

The agrifair always strikes me as the beginning of the end of summer. I noticed this morning on my bike ride, that along with the pungent scent of blackberries in the air, there was that certain scent and feel of impending fall. It's just a slight hint of it at this point, but it's definitely there.

There's always so much to do in the summer, between festivals and fairs and sundry other events, I'm not quite sure why they call them the lazy days of summer. I'm always so darn busy!

Have You Ever Questioned The Religion, Culture and Way Of Life That You're Born Into ?

I did! And As I grow older and able to see, feel and experience life, I' able to make sense of things around me and form my own belief.

I was born Christian, spent many years with nuns, raised in very conservative society, with big loving family who raised me into a good person able to differentiate differences between good and bad, moral and immoral, acceptable and not acceptable according to norm in society.

I've sit, eat , work and sleep with people from different race, beliefs and culture...and I found we have one thing in common - we are all human being with a big need for love and acceptance and there's good and bad in all of us and religion has nothing to do with it.

I've learned that by accepting our differences from one another sets us all free and creates a better world.

I've learned that my religion does not make me a better person, my common sense and how my parents raised me has a lot to do with that. Religion will not save my a**, it will not make me happy, all religious books contains contains plenty bullshit. I believe doing good things for myself and others is enough to get me to heaven, if there's one.

I know with all my heart that whatever god maybe is a good god and sees the good and bad in everyone. If he's truly coming to judge everyone one day, I think he'll put me in the blue corner, among those non-judgemental, non-fear-mongering kind, loving and respectful people. Amen!yay

The Virgosign on the World Cup.

Hey people.
I am sure all England football supporters worldwide remember today in history 52 years ago.
Yes 30 July 1966 England bested West Germany 4-2 and lifted the Joules Rimet trophy in Wembley Stadium. It was the first World Cup televised live in the competition’s 36 years history. Many reading this weren’t even born at the time but I specifically remember watching it at home with my parents and half the street neighbours filling the room and spilling out of the wide open front door into the street, on a b&w Leowe Opta mahogany cased tv.
That day I sided with Germany, and have been a DFB fan since .
Seems so like it was only yesterday !
Peace cool

New Car...

While it would be nice to purchase a new car, I'm not prepared to have payments for the next 4-5 years. My current car is 'growing old' quickly with all the miles I'm driving. Several coworkers have purchased pre-owned vehicles from 'off lease only' saving thousands on low mileage cars that are still under manufacturers warranty.
I believe the answer is really to keep the car and rent/sell my current house and rent/purchase something much closer to my job.

Little by little, we've been in renovation mode fixing things around the house getting it ready to carry out a plan. I'm teetering about saving money (for a purchase) or spending money in renovation that could increase the current value.

It's summer and rent prices are lowest right now. If I wait too long apartments in the area near my office will jump up as much as 50%

Soon, but not now.

Living a simple lifestyle and 2 hours less on the road 'driving to and from' means 2 hours more to enjoy life.

The Virgosign on Mars

Hey people,
The Martians are coming!
Space scientists have found liquid water in some substrata lake on Mars. I was always under the impression that the Red planet was too cold, too dry and with no oxygen, yet I’ve a feeling that we in Malta will encounter Martians for real and even much before the local controversies unravel.
My theory is with the cranes, and not the flying kind either .... the Martians are bound to see our behemoths stretching to the skies and discover our advanced telecoms community and target superior Malta as the ideal first contact with Earthlings.
Trouble is, they won’t find any spot where to land ....precisely because of the cranes.
Peace doh

Riding into the Sunset

This coming Thursday, it'll be a year since I moved into this house. woohoo! Happy anniversary, me! When I first moved here, I couldn't get any of the renovations started until September, which meant living among boxes until the renovations were complete.

There was no point in unpacking anything until the renovations were done. I hadn't planned on doing the kitchen and bathrooms, as I didn't think I had enough to do that as well as painting, all new floors throughout the house and new baseboards. I was really fortunate to find some guys that did a superb job at a reasonable price. Then, when I asked the kitchen guy that had fixed the botched job of my last kitchen, his price for both bathrooms and kitchen was so good that I decided to just go for it.

Am I ever glad I did! However, in the meantime, I was living among boxes, which I detest, and although I'd ordered all new appliances, they couldn't go in until the floor and kitchen was complete.

This is where I've been super spoiled. For years I've had a fridge that had water and ice on the outside of the door, which I find extremely handy. The fridge that was here not only didn't have water and ice on the outside of the door, it didn't even have an ice maker. Ack! What??

So, in the extreme heat of last summer, I was forced to purchase some ice cube trays and make ice cubes the old-fashioned way. Being that it was so hot, I couldn't keep up with making the darn things. I look back on my first few months here, living in an absolute mess, workmen here all the time, trying to work around them, and the only place I could be out of the way was on the patio. I pretty much lived out there last summer.

Having just poured myself a glass of ice water from the outside door of the fridge, it reminded me of how things were last year, and how fortunate I am to have been able to renovate and purchase almost everything I wanted and to have these luxuries. What an incredible difference a year has made.

I'm so grateful that I found this house, but also, I'm grateful to strata in my last condo who harassed me relentlessly and the nasty kitchen guy who slandered me to them, as I never would have even looked for my dream home had it not been for them. I'm also grateful to Human Rights who pretty much threw the book at them for their harassment. Hopefully they will not do that to another person.

Although I missed the lake I used to bike around before, I'm finding I'm missing it less and less, and am thoroughly enjoying the longer bike rides along the river now. I'm thoroughly enjoying not taking my life in my hands riding my bike in this community either.

Last evening I went out for my bike ride, taking the same route I usually take in the morning. It's amazing how different things can look from the beginning to the end of the day, all because of the light. While riding past one of the irrigation wheels, the position of the sun rays through the spray turned it into a halo of rainbow colours. Cool!

I didn't take many photos the rest of the ride, and headed down the tunnel of foliage through the blackberry vines. Next time I go for an evening ride, I'm going to ride the opposite way around. The setting sun was directly in my eyes and even with very dark sunglasses on, I couldn't see the path without raising my hand to block out the sun. That was a bit disturbing, as I also couldn't see anything else, including any vines that had grown over to grab my shirt.

It made me wonder about all those movies where the cowboy (or whatever) rides off into the sunset. How the heck do they see??? Maybe they don't, and that's why it ends there. Let's face it, if they had to put their hand up to block out the sun, it just wouldn't have the same impact.

I know one thing for sure. Next time I ride at sunset, it's not going to be into it!

Ok, Now I've Heard it All

I have no idea if this is true or not.

You'll NEVER believe what women are putting in their va*ina now. Believe it or not, some women are rubbing crushed wasp nests on, in, and around their delicate little female flowers.

Wasps are pretty gnarly creatures. They can and often do fly quickly. They make large nests out of seemingly anything directly on the outside of homes. The buggers live in swarms - and they often attack perceived enemies in swarms.

You've probably been stung by a wasp at least once, right? If not, lucky you! Oh yeah, and their stings hurt, too. Unlike bees, they don't die after they sting; wasps continue to expand their nests and find other people and animals to sting again.

For some unknown reason, women have just recently started to stick wasp nests into their va*ina. Yes, you read that correctly - the latest trend of stupidity involves placing crushed wasp nests into one's own va*ina.

If you're among the one-half of the world who has a va*ina, would you consider putting wasp nests in your pink pocket? Where the sun doesn't shine?

If you're a guy, on the other hand, would you let your girlfriend get wasp nests - doesn't that sound crazy? - near her favorite body part of yours?

This trend isn't hearsay either.

The countless claims of alleged adult-rated use of oak galls seem to be true. By the way, oak galls are round balls on oak trees that come from a species of wasp called the gall wasp. They inject their larva - this is sounding nastier by the sentence - into leaf buds, the larva secretes chemicals that cause the balls to puff up, then they eat the not-so-tasty oak puffy balls - or whatever they're called.

The Daily Mail shared this nasty news with the world just days ago. Those wasp nests are able to make va*ina sting wherever their powder is applied and even dry out the vaginal canal. However, vaginal oak gall application is said to act as a douche of sorts, heal scars and even active wounds from episiotomies, and build back the uterus after the miracle of birth reaps havoc on mothers' bodies.

Popular Science notes that this quasi-treatment won't make vaginal canals tighter as rumor may have it.

OK - I'm not trying this oak gall stuff anytime soon, that's for sure. Would you consider applying crushed wasp nest in and around your no-no square?

We want to hear what YOU would do. Are the potential benefits worth it? I wonder what your friends would say!

Thumbin' It

Have you ever thought of how life would be without thumbs? How would you hitch-hike? I suppose, being human, we'd do something else that would be universally understood, but the thumb is such a great appendage.

What brought me to thinking about this? My right thumb has been sore off and on for the past month or so and I couldn't figure out why. A few weeks ago it was so sore I was having trouble doing anything with it. Not sore as in arthritis, but sore as in strained or sprained. What the heck had I been doing? Nothing I could think of.

Yesterday I finally figured it out. It's my new bike! The gear shifter on my old bike was a round knob that I just turned up or down with a twist of the wrist. My new bike to downgear, I have to push a lever under the handlebar with my thumb, and use my index finger to gear up on the other side of the handlebars.

While I was out biking yesterday, that's when my thumb started to hurt and when it dawned on me why. There's no 'fix' for it except to build up that area so it's used to the motion.

I'm sure the extra long bike ride didn't help, but it did solve the puzzle. It'd be a witch not to be able to 'thumb' anything.
