My buddy dropped in last night, we jammed some music and partied till around 6 this morning. It was fun lol

Standing at traffic lights with my hood down even tho it was raining. A woman looked at me and smiled can I ask you something she asked? Yes of course I replied noticing that she and her friend were holding a map. Are we going the right way to get to the park she asked. Yes you are I replied. I then showed them on the map both ways to the park and told them that one way is quicker but the other way is a nicer walk.
what way would you go they asked. I said the nicer way and the girl who asked me for directions smiled again and said she also liked to walk int he rain. The lights changed and we parted company. I looked back when I was half way down the road and the girl was walking alone in the rain. It seems her friend had decided she did not want to walk in the rain and the girl decided to walk alone.


I thought maybe I should go back but I did not. I got to the cross roads and I seen the girl again she was going in a different direction to me. She looked at me from a few feet away stood a few seconds and smiled and we both went our different ways.

Yesterday we seen a St Patricks parade that we were told represented Ireland. Multicultural and full of color and song and dance. Together we are an Island. Beamed across the world for all to see. An advertisement by our government to get more people to visit so we can make a few euro on them.

I sat and watched and I felt it did not represent the Ireland I know. I did not see the bank floats. Think of it you could have had all the banks big fancy floats with hundreds of people holding little house around them and then people dressed as solicitors stealing the houses from the people and giving them to the banks. The next float could have been hundreds of empty boarded up houses with hundreds of people walking beside them with hotel keys of sleeping bags. Next up lots of plans just drawing and more drawing and more plans for hospitals and beside this we could of zombie nurses that are over worked dragging people on mats because we don’t have any beds for them. Next the mental health float the one we all want to talk about but this will be the underfunded one because the funds for this was redirected. Then let’s get in party mood next up we have Irish water, An post and Bus Eireann all with a for sale signs on them after all this was going out to worldwide audience and we know how are government love foreign investors. Next up NAMA with everyone involved in handcuffs as it should be. Then Magdalene Laundries and the mother and baby homes these would be invisible floats covered up a deep dark secret after all is that what our government and church want. Next the abuse that old people and the mentally ill surfer by the people that are supposed to care for them. Then a long river of false promise, cover ups, back handers, bail outs and corruption we would only have to line up certain politicians for this and we all know who they are.

This is I believe represents Ireland and it is far cry from the one that was represented last yesterday.

I was back in high school and the girl I had a crush on back then was messing around with my jacket with a pair of scissors. She accidentally cut my hood in two places. In my dream, I felt it was fair to cut her hood of her jacket, in the same places. She was not impressed by my decision. I explained to her, well, you cut my hood. I started questioning my decision of doing so as she persisted to be disappointed.

So I told her,okay....because at this time in my dream, the whole classroom was full of people, young and old. I told her, okay, I will take a vote with the people in here to see what they think. She left the room and proceeded to wait in the hallway. I got all 100+ people's attention in the room and took the vote. An overwhelming amount of people said that it was not okay.

I walked out into the hallway and told her the results and deeply apologized for my action. She thanked me, we nearly kissed, and she said, "that is not very loving...people who have to have things my way, or the highway."

Take what you want from this dream...I found it very profound.

I was watching the movie Interstellar and there was a part that got me thinking. The actors were talking among themselves about honesty. Most agreed that honesty is the correct policy 100% of the time. When the robot was asked, it responded by saying 90/10...accounting for the emotions of some.

So, is it that highly emotional people require dishonesty for their own good?

Or....it is better to have honesty 100% of the time and for people to keep their emotions in check?


....suppose, the second is probably easier said than done when it comes to the highly emotional.

The sun is out melting the snow. Was to the doctor and mentioned my back to him, he checked me out and gave me a script for some pain killers but he wants me to get therapy as this is not the first time I had back trouble. Problem is that its very expensive and not covered by our health care system. I don't know what I am going to be able to do if anything, will have to play this one by ear.
