Big news topic this month are the dollars pouring out of supporters wallets and into the hands of Donald Trump. I read that while the money was intended as campaign donations, the bigger portion is being used to pay his legal fees. Reported yesterday, that number has exceeded $50 million and expected to go higher.
Alina Habba wasn't good representing him for the E.Jean Carroll case, the jury awarded
Carroll $83 million and Trump is seeking a new legal team to represent him for the appeal.
Hotelier Robert Bigelow stated that a few weeks ago, gave Republican presidential candidate Donald Trump $1 million for his legal fees.
As a kid, we used to enjoy caramel-coated popcorn that came in a box, sold under the name of Cracker Jack. The lure was a prize inside. It didn't take long to figure out the prize was at the bottom of the box, so all you have to do was turn it upside-down, open the package and get your prize. Usually it was some worthless plastic (fits all) ring that got tossed aside, leaving you with a box of popcorn.
My thought here is when will Republicans come to the realization that all that sugar is on puffed up corn with a useless prize. Like Herpes, is this the gift that keeps on giving?
How many lives were lost?
I could have told you 2 months ago that this would happen.
What will happen now as NATO builds up on Belarus's borders?
If NATO attacks there will be millions of deaths.
As we speak, Russian tactical nuclear weapons is being deployed close to Belarus’ borders with NATO neighbors.
If ww3 erupts I lay the blame squarely on the West, all this was and still is avoidable.

That's the whole point of isolation. If not, we all will be running around in 'Andromeda Strain' hazmat suits... even if it's a trip to the grocery store.
We need to see less new outbreaks... essentially flatten the curve.
I see Mark made a comment to Jim's blog "Over 1000 cases..." stating Florida changed their peak time. Is this a false report... glitch perhaps?
The prediction was to see more cases, but yesterday the numbers dropped sharply.
Two of the county virus hotspots in the State of Florida are Dade and Broward Counties.
If you are not familiar, Miami is in the middle of Dade county and Fort Lauderdale is in the middle of Broward county.
Highly populated, both cities are famous for tourism and have international airports, seaports for cargo and cruise ships.
Since I own a home in Miami, it's a concern to avoid these areas as I'm now living in Palm Beach county about 50 miles to the north.
We are under a mandatory stay home order.
If this effect is working, then we could expect the projected curve to flatten sooner.
In response to: Michael Cohen Takes Mueller Inside the Trump Organization
The president’s former personal lawyer admitted lying to Congress about efforts in 2016 to build a Trump Tower in Moscow.
In a Manhattan federal court on Thursday, President Trump’s longtime personal lawyer Michael Cohen pleaded guilty to lying to Congress about the timing of his negotiations to build a Trump Tower Moscow in 2016, and how often he discussed the deal with Trump during the campaign. The guilty plea is the first Mueller has secured that is related directly to Trump’s business dealings—and may be just the tip of the iceberg in the ongoing investigation of business deals involving the Trump Organization and Russian financiers, inside and outside the Kremlin.
With Trump now at war with someone who for years was his most loyal lieutenant and fixer, Cohen’s court appearance underscored the peril he presents for the president, unsettled by dramatic Democratic gains in the midterms and facing the prospect of unending offshoot probes by newly emboldened Democratic committee chairman.
The plea includes evidence, for the first time, that could show how Trump was compromised by Russia while Russian President Vladimir Putin was waging a direct attack on the 2016 election. The formal agreement also incentivizes Cohen, the former executive vice president of the Trump Organization and Trump’s right-hand man for over a decade, to tell Mueller everything he knows—and sets Cohen up as a more credible witness should Mueller ask him to testify in the future. Significantly, the guilty plea was finalized after Trump submitted his written answers to Mueller, who reportedly asked Trump specifically about the Moscow deal. (Trump’s lawyer, Rudy Giuliani, said on Thursday that Trump’s written answers matched the story that Cohen had told Mueller.)
Cohen, moreover, has indicated that he has no loyalty to the president and does not want or expect a presidential pardon. He has also not been sharing information with the president’s legal team throughout the course of his cooperation with Mueller, as Trump’s former campaign chairman Paul Manafort has been. Whereas Manafort has kept one foot in the door of Trumpworld, Cohen severed his ties to the president months ago. “The real wild card for Trump is Cohen,” said a veteran Washington lawyer who requested anonymity because he represents a client involved in the Russia probe. “It’s obvious that Cohen knows more about Trump’s business activities over the last decade than just about anyone.”
Cohen admitted on Thursday that he lied to Congress about how often he and Trump had spoken about the deal in 2016, and acknowledged that he had tried to organize a trip for Trump to Russia in 2016 to scope out the potential project after Trump clinched the Republican nomination. He lied both to minimize Trump’s link to the Moscow project, and to limit “the ongoing Russia investigations,” according to Mueller’s team. The criminal information filed by Mueller’s office on Thursday makes clear that Cohen contacted the Kremlin “asking for assistance in connection with the Moscow Project” in January 2016.
Dan Goldman, a former federal prosecutor in the Southern District of New York where he focused on organized crime, said he believes that the plea agreement is “a prelude to forthcoming indictments and other investigative steps. Before using information from a cooperating witness, prosecutors generally like to ‘lock in’ the witness through a guilty plea,” Goldman said. “So I would expect more to come arising out of, at least in part, Michael Cohen’s cooperation.”
It isn’t just Trump who may be in legal danger now that Cohen is cooperating—it’s also his family members, who Cohen admitted to briefing on the Trump Tower Moscow deal in 2016.....
There are at least 6 ongoing investigations involving Donald Trump
and likely several more, that have not yet been made public.
He is already implicated in several felonies with corroborating witnesses.
It is likely only going to get worse for Trump, a lot worse.
While he still has some bargaining power, he should negotiate a plea bargain in
exchange for him resigning the presidency.
It would be best for Trump and best for the country.
However, we will witness, that Trump is simply too dumb to understand this and to do this.
Plus, he doesn't really care about the country.
Thus, the longer he delays, the worse it will likely get for him.

Senate Democrats Demand Barr Resign Or Face Impeachment Over Roger Stone Case
Hayley Miller
,HuffPost•February 12, 2020
Senate Democrats have called on Attorney General William Barr to resign or face impeachment after President Donald Trump appeared to confirm that Barr had intervened in the case against the president’s longtime friend Roger Stone.
“Donald Trump is shredding the rule of law in this country,” Sen. Elizabeth Warren (D-Mass.) tweeted Wednesday. “Congress must act immediately to rein in our lawless Attorney General. Barr should resign or face impeachment.”
Sen. Richard Blumenthal of Connecticut, another Democrat, told NBC News earlier in the day that he believes Barr has “no choice” but to resign.
“He’s acting simply as a henchman of the president,” Blumenthal said.
All four federal prosecutors who ran Stone’s trial abruptly withdrew from the case on Tuesday after Justice Department leadership intervened to reduce their sentencing recommendation.
The prosecutors told the court on Monday that Stone should face seven to nine years behind bars for witness tampering and lying to Congress. Trump, who has leaned on Stone as an adviser since the 1980s, tweeted that the sentencing recommendation was too long and called it a “miscarriage of justice.”
After Trump’s tweet, which was sent around 2 a.m. on Tuesday, the Justice Department signaled that it planned to revise the sentencing recommendation. The career prosecutors dropped out one by one soon after.
Trump appeared to confirm that Barr had intervened in the case in a series of tweets on Wednesday, praising the attorney general for “taking charge.” Trump had appointed Barr to head the Justice Department in 2018 after firing Jeff Sessions.
Meanwhile, White House Deputy Press Secretary Hogan Gidley denied that Trump had interfered in Stone’s sentencing during an appearance Wednesday on Fox News. “Look, is the chief law enforcement officer,” Gidley said. “He has the right to do it. He just didn’t. He didn’t make any comment, didn’t have a conversation with the attorney general and that’s just ludicrous.”
Asked whether he would pardon Stone, Trump told reporters in the Oval Office on Wednesday that he doesn’t “want to say yet.”
“I want to thank the Justice Department,” he said. “They saw the horribleness of a nine-year sentence for doing nothing. You have murderers and drug addicts — they don’t get nine years.”
Senate Minority Leader Chuck Schumer (D-N.Y.) has called on the Justice Department’s inspector general to investigate the revised sentencing recommendation and urged the Senate Judiciary Committee to hold a hearing on the matter.
“The president is claiming that rigging the rules is perfectly legitimate,” Schumer said on the Senate floor Wednesday. “He claims an absolute right to order the Justice Department to do whatever he wants. And the president has as his attorney general an enabler.”
“That is third-world behavior ? not American behavior,” Schumer continued. “This is not ordinary stuff. Never seen it before with any president.”
Several Democratic senators, including Kamala Harris of California and Bob Casey of Pennsylvania, echoed Schumer’s outrage, and legal experts warned of the potentially devastating consequences of Trump’s brazen coordination with the Justice Department.
“The Rule of Law is gasping for breath, being suffocated by Trump and his personal henchman Bill Barr,” tweeted Laurence Tribe, a constitutional law professor at Harvard University. “Not even a pretense of legality. They’re doing it because they can. It’s raw, naked, unprincipled, immoral power.”

Pelosi announces Trump impeachment inquiry, saying ‘no one is above the law’
By Robert Schroeder
Published: Sept 24, 2019 6:10 p.m. ET
House Speaker Nancy Pelosi on Tuesday announced an impeachment inquiry into President Donald Trump, amid a growing drumbeat of criticism following reports that Trump pressed Ukraine’s president to investigate Joe Biden and his son.
“The president must be held accountable. No one is above the law,” said Pelosi, a California Democrat.
Speaking on Capitol Hill, Pelosi said “the actions of the Trump presidency revealed the dishonorable fact of the president’s betrayal of his oath of office, betrayal of our national security and betrayal of the integrity of our elections.”
Earlier Tuesday, Trump said on Twitter he approved a Wednesday release of a transcript of the July call with Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky. However, Democrats are seeking the details of a whistleblower complaint that deals with the Zelensky call. Pelosi demanded it be turned over to Congress by the acting director of national intelligence.
“He will have to choose whether to break the law or honor his responsibility to the Constitution,” Pelosi said about acting DNI Joseph McGuire.
Trump blasted the impeachment move in a tweet moments after Pelosi finished speaking, saying “So bad for our Country!”
Speaking in New York at the United Nations Trump told reporters he withheld aid to Ukraine, but that the move wasn’t used as leverage.
“There was no quid pro quo,” Trump said. “There was no pressure applied, nothing.”
Pelosi has previously been reluctant to back impeachment, saying she preferred for Trump to be defeated in the 2020 election. She said she is directing the House committees already probing Trump to continue doing so under the “umbrella of impeachment inquiry.”
Even if Trump were impeached by the House, a trial could be held in the Senate. With the Senate in Republican control, a case could be dismissed immediately.
More than half of the House’s 235 Democrats support an impeachment investigation. However, that isn’t enough for impeachment, which requires a simple majority of the entire House.
U.S. stocks DJIA, -0.53% closed lower on Tuesday, amid reports that Pelosi would announce the impeachment inquiry.
This is way overdue. Congress should have done the right thing (impeachment inquiry) long ago.
Reliable sources reporting that witnesses in secret Soviet style coup impeach meetings contradicting everything Democrats say. This why they don't want American peoples to hear what happening inside meetings. They want to hide it and just come out and tell lie about what was said becase they know people cannot hear the actual testimonies. This like what happen in communist country. People get trial by secret meeting, not allow any due process. Public have no access to secret meeting. President Trump denied his civil rights. These Democrats now communists.
These hearing have NO CLASSIFIED information discuss. So why Democrats hide it and so secret about it don't want American people to see? If they tell truth, why they hide the hearings? This like communist country.
