There are only two ways we humans can posture ourselves. Either we’re bent over like a question mark or we’re straight as an exclamation point. It depends on our view of God. Our lives only have meaning within the context of a Creator. His life, love, holiness, and ultimate ends—these are the things that give us hope and purpose. Reject God, and the answer to “Who am I?” doesn’t even require a single word. A simple question mark will do. Without Him, we feel we’re nothing but momentary sparks that flicker in meaninglessness and die into nothingness. There are no answers, only question marks.

When our view of God is true and biblical, we’re as upright as an exclamation mark. We’re made in God’s image for His purposes, recipients of His peace and perpetual life through Jesus Christ who loved us and died for us. We stand firm with hope and purpose.

We’re only able to understand who we are when we understand the Creator. Our secularized culture yields despair, but how different when we exclaim with Psalm 8: “O LORD, our Lord, how excellent is Your name in all the earth!”

The Struggle Between The Two Natures

Romans chapter 7...
Jesus Christ is the only one who can helps us handle the battle of the two natures within us and our battle with the carnal mind which brings sin alive in our flesh. And know this, that the sinful nature that is not in Christ, will submit to the new nature that is born again in Christ, if you submit to the Holy Spirit your old sin nature, by God's principle of serving, the old sinful nature will be put to death and will serve the new spiritual nature that is alive in Christ, and you will find yourself no longer desiring to fulfill the flesh in sin.
We can overcome the battle of sin, and many other life struggles and circumstances, and battles from within and without that we encounter on this earthly journey, by encouraging ourselves in the Lord. Keep your minds focused on Jesus. So, what does it mean to encourage yourself in the Lord? Firstly, the word “encourage” means: To give courage to; or to give hope or confidence to; to help by giving support to; or to be favorable, or to be favorable toward someone or something, or yourself.

Therefore, to encourage yourself in the Lord is to give yourself personal support, or courage, or confidence in prayer and the reading of God's Word. Knowing that God is there for you, and with you in all things, if you place all your faith, trust, and hope in Him, and believe that God will be with you through whatever situation or circumstances you may encounter in your life.

One thing we know for sure is, that God is not ignorance of your problems or your tests or trials, because most of what we experience in life, He is the one who has allowed these things to happen in order that our faith and trust in Him might grow stronger, so that we, as Christian believers might grow-up to spiritually mature believers. Our responsibility is to encourage ourselves in all things in prayer, or praise, in worshiping to God. If you’re in the right of things, and you are doing your very best to please God, God will take you through and bring you out. And if you’re not in the right of things, and continue to flirt with sin in your life, while confessing and professing Christ as your Savior, expect God to discipline you and allow you to go through more than you should.

Hebrews chapter 12, let's us know that God will chasten His children for their sins. And yes, God will allow you to suffering the consequences of your wrongs and sins, but He is still there with, and for you, once you repent of your wrong doings and sinful ways. No matter what, you can resolve problems from within yourself, you can win the battle over sin by totally surrendering your life to the Lord, and allowing the Holy Spirit to order your step, because you are no longer your own, you were brought with a price, that you can't repay. For now you are a new creature in Christ, born again with a new nature. Even when no one encourages you, and you have separated yourself from those who say its alright to do such and such. It is for you to take responsibility for your own behavior and actions as a Christian believer, by keep yourself encouraged in the Lord through prayer and God's Word, keep yourself connected and in unity with the Holy Spirit.

The devil is slick and has many ticks up his selves, and he knows just the right time to attack your mind and emotions during your moments and periods of worry and feeling in despair and need. DON’T WORRY, BE HAPPY IN YOUR RELATIONSHIP WITH CHRIST! For greater is the Holy Spirit who lives on the inside of you, than the devil who is in the world.

When God is near,
With light my path is glowing,
The cup of life with gladness overflows,
And in the garden of my heart is growing,
The flower of love,
More fragrant than the sweetest rose.
When God is near,
- A.H. ACKLEY

By Virginia Berg

HOW TRUE THAT IS! WHEN YOU FEEL HIM NEAR YOU AND THAT YOU'RE HAVING SWEET FELLOWSHIP WITH HIM and His promises are being realized in your life, and you are conscious of his loving you and you just feel that love surrounding you, it is a paradise, isn't it? It is an ecstasy! There is nothing like it in all the world!

WE ARE TURNING TO GOD'S WORD IN 2ND CORINTHIANS, THE 12 CHAPTER, THE 9 VERSE. As we read, Paul was speaking, "The Lord said unto me, My grace is sufficient for thee. For My strength is made perfect in weakness. Most gladly therefore will I rather glory in my infirmities, that the power of Christ should rest upon me. Therefore I take pleasure in infirmities, in reproaches, in necessities, and persecutions and distresses, for Christ's sake, for when I am weak, then I am strong."

IN THE VERSE "MY STRENGTH IS MADE PERFECT IN WEAKNESS," THE LORD WAS SAYING TO PAUL'S HEART THAT HIS STRENGTH IS MADE PERFECT IN PAUL'S WEAKNESS. And then He says, "For when I am weak" -- Paul now speaking of himself -- "when I am weak, then am I strong." You'll be puzzled at such a strange statement if you are not acquainted with the writings or character of the Apostle Paul when he says that "when I am weak, then am I strong," for he was a great scholar, talented writer, and outstanding Christian Apostle, and to think that he would say this thing. But if you look to whom Paul is writing, it might help us to find an answer to this strange statement.

PAUL WROTE THESE WORDS TO THE GREEKS. If you read back in the Corinthian letter, you'll note that they had questioned his right to Apostleship because of something which they called weakness. They inferred that his bodily presence was weak, and therefore not fitted for his high calling. The Greeks exalted perfection of the physical body, not only through their national races and son on, but they thought that anyone was a weakling who was not robust.

WE KNOW FROM WHAT PAUL WRITES ELSEWHERE THAT THEY ALSO ATTRIBUTED OTHER WEAKNESSES TO HIM. They scorned a man that had been stoned, whipped or imprisoned. This did not at all constitute their idea of strength. And Paul's manner of organizing and sustaining the Church, that was contrary to their strong human logic also.

Virginia Brandt Berg was a famous woman evangelist, healer and one of the first radio evangelists in America in the beginning of the 20th century. She was the daughter of a wealthy family of ministers, who lost her faith through modernism in Bible College and consequently became a prodigal socialite that travelled Europe and wasted her fortunes in gambling, partying and living it up with the "cream of the crop."

She was about to get married to Bruce Bogart, cousin of Humphrey, when a talented Swedish singer stole her heart with his songs, after which they promptly eloped. The Swede Hjalmer Berg then was converted during one of her fathers services, and turned into a staunch believer himself. Virginia was disappointed, but stayed with him. Immediately after the birth of her first baby, she was carried from the car and dropped by accident. She broke her back in several places on the curb. She was in a 5 year deathbed but after united prayer was finally miraculously healed in an instant. (See her book "The Hem of His garment" for the rest of the story.)

Very truly I tell you, before the rooster crows,
you will disown me three times!

John 13:21-38

21 After he had said this, Jesus was troubled in spirit and testified, “Very truly I tell you, one of you is going to betray me.”

22 His disciples stared at one another, at a loss to know which of them he meant. 23 One of them, the disciple whom Jesus loved, was reclining next to him. 24 Simon Peter motioned to this disciple and said, “Ask him which one he means.”

25 Leaning back against Jesus, he asked him, “Lord, who is it?”

26 Jesus answered, “It is the one to whom I will give this piece of bread when I have dipped it in the dish.” Then, dipping the piece of bread, he gave it to Judas, the son of Simon Iscariot. 27 As soon as Judas took the bread, Satan entered into him.

So Jesus told him, “What you are about to do, do quickly.” 28 But no one at the meal understood why Jesus said this to him. 29 Since Judas had charge of the money, some thought Jesus was telling him to buy what was needed for the festival, or to give something to the poor. 30 As soon as Judas had taken the bread, he went out. And it was night.

Jesus Predicts Peter’s Denial
31 When he was gone, Jesus said, “Now the Son of Man is glorified and God is glorified in him. 32 If God is glorified in him, God will glorify the Son in himself, and will glorify him at once.

33 “My children, I will be with you only a little longer. You will look for me, and just as I told the Jews, so I tell you now: Where I am going, you cannot come.

34 “A new command I give you: Love one another. As I have loved you, so you must love one another. 35 By this everyone will know that you are my disciples, if you love one another.”

36 Simon Peter asked him, “Lord, where are you going?”

Jesus replied, “Where I am going, you cannot follow now, but you will follow later.”

37 Peter asked, “Lord, why can’t I follow you now? I will lay down my life for you.”

38 Then Jesus answered, “Will you really lay down your life for me? Very truly I tell you, before the rooster crows, you will disown me three times!"

Believers and unbelievers

Why there are two groups or two kind of people, believers and unbelievers ?
People who understood the Truth and so became believers.
People who understood not the truth, but live under sin ,and so they are still unbelievers.
What cause to be unbeliever?it is so that they don,t have love for the truth and they like sin and live
in darking way. Also There are many christians who seem to believe truth but do not obey it, and so they pretend to live as christians! who ever want to love the truth, are those who will believe and obey the truth.
Those who believe and obey the truth will be saved from sin and from evil.
So let people think carefully what they want: believe or not believe truth.
Heaven is place for those who believe and obey truth.Hell is for those who do wicked and evil and don,t believe truth.
Hell is with all suffers and terrible fire, and have no rest and no peace, therefore let people think carefully
what they want, Heaven or Hell? When people lose peace and resting is in agony and terrible suffer, they want at least drop of water ,but can,t have.having no rest and no peace is terrible suffer, they can,t live
one minute without peace and rest,so they suffer with so long many years there in agony and terrible
situation!
So then they will be sorry for not believing truth, but then is too late to believe, they have to suffer.
So let people think carefully what they want, i wish they choose Heaven and not Hell, and to believe truth
and so to go in heaven one day.
Those that want to believe and obey truth: let them start obeying commandments of God: two greatest
commandments :Love God with all heart.., and love your neighbours as yourself.then is ten commandments in exodus 20:2-17 in bible.
And so they will be leaded to salvation, to be saved and one day will come when they will go also in heaven.
May God bless and help you.Jesus said: those who obey my commandments:is those that love Me.

Why do some people get upset when they hear the wo

I was dating someone on this site for over a year and a half. He was from the UK and even though he wasn't a christian he admitted to praying to God.usually only in desperate situations but he prayed nonetheless. Often he would say to me Kristine pray as He knew my prayers were effective. So one day Lee says to me I don't believe the Bible when it says someone has to be born again. He got pretty upset with that being in the Bible yet he would pray to God and ask for help in situations. So I explained to Lee that being born again was no different then being saved and salvation is not a hard thing neither is being born again .I asked him if He believed what the Bible says and he said some of it but not all if it. Either you believe the Bible that's its true or you don't I told him. We broke up shortly after that conversation as I realized I believed all of the Bible and it says a fool says in his heart there is no God and then it says stay away from fools lol. Much happier now Wishing everyone a safe and blessed weekend.

Heavenly Quotes on Heaven! Pt. 17

I beheld till the thrones were cast down, and the Ancient of days did sit, whose garment was white as snow, and the hair of his head like the pure wool: his throne was like the fiery flame, and his wheels as burning fire. A fiery stream issued and came forth from before him: thousand thousands ministered unto him, and ten thousand times ten thousand stood before him: the judgment was set, and the books were opened. Daniel 7:9-10 KJV

by David Brant Berg

"Our Heavenly bodies will be able to dematerialise, pass from dimension to dimension, walk right through walls and locked doors as Jesus did, appear and disappear at will and travel with the speed of thought!
*
"We'll look enough like we do now to recognise each other, identify each other and know each other!
*
"We'll have all the best of this and Heaven too, the best of two Worlds!--Heaven now and Heaven to come!
*
"Heaven will be the greatest Family Reunion we've ever known, with all our loved ones and relatives and children and parents and ancestors and descendants and ascendants all together in one place at the same time, rejoicing and praising the Lord all together in one great grand Heavenly Fellowship Meeting!
*
"Hallelujah for the Heaven we have in our hearts with the Love of Jesus, His Spirit, and the Heaven we have in our Homes with each other and our love together and our work and service together for Him. It's really a little bit of Heaven right here and now!
*
"We're halfway to Heaven here in the spirit, and we can get half of the enjoyment ahead of time just thinking about it, praising the Lord for it, thanking the Lord for it, reading about it, dreaming about it, looking forward to it and anticipating it!
*
"It's amazing, the tremendous capacity of that marvelous final great Heavenly City that Jesus has gone to prepare and is now all prepared for us and on its way here, just ready for its new tenants which Jesus is going to raise from both the dead and the living in the Rapture at His Second Coming and take us all away to be there with Him!
*
"I want you to really be able to grasp the wonder of it, the marvel of it, the size of it and really be able to get a good conception of its magnificence and it tremendous colossal gigantic stupendous size and beauty and splendour!
*
"I belong to the Kingdom of God, that's my Country! I'm from Space City, that's my City! I'm from the City that hath foundations, whose Builder and Maker is God!
*
"I've already got the Kingdom of Heaven in my heart! That's my nationality, my citizenship, my Country!--A Country that's never persecuted the poor or oppressed the weak or destroyed small peoples of the World like America has. It's a Country that's never lost a battle and never fought a war for the wrong reason.
*
"My Country's trying to save the World, stop the wars, relieve the poor, feed the hungry, heal the sick and liberate the captives that are bound by countries like America!
*
"I'm a citizen of the only righteous nation in the Universe--the Kingdom of Jesus Christ!
*
"Even the worst neighborhood of Heaven will be better than the best neighborhood of the fanciest town on Earth!
*
"We have in effect renounced our Worldly citizenship when we receive the King of Kings and the Prince of Peace, Lord of Lords, God of Heaven, Son of Righteousness and the Kingdom of Heaven into our hearts, and have made the Heavenly City our Home!
*
"We're leaving this Hell of a mess before long and we're going to go to our Country and our City to be with our King!
*
"I want to declare my Citizenship in the Kingdom of God and my allegiance to His Kingdom and His City!
