Sometimes In Life

Having moved to a different country I feel very happy when my friends come to visit me. But sometimes certain ones take my breath away. A while ago I got an email from an acquaintance.
'We're looking for a cheap holiday so thought we'd visit you'
Cheap!!
I clean the house from end to end, change beds buy different shopping because you eat different to me, buy wine and soft drinks.
Then drive 2 hours to pick them from the airport and 2 hours back. Then drive them around the area sight seeing. Cook, wash up clean up after them and generally entertain, whilst still trying to do my normal life . Then back 2 hours to the airport and 2 hours back, then clean up after them.
A cheap holiday, for who?

I hate this.
all this advertisement and such for IT.

I have a 5 year old daughter and newspapers, tv, street signs, the bloody clown is looking creepily everywhere.

I don't care for a f*cking bra picture or bikini shot, but all this public allowed violence is a bit much.

I find this publicity campaign going a bit over the top.
few hour movie and it is everywhere. there is too much money in this industry

At last Trump has said something I can accept , it concerns the ATH-A-LEETS ( please notice the spelling) who will not stand at attention when the National Anthem is played . I agree , the SOBs (that stands for - sorry obdurate ballplayer -
OR - whatever) should be fired. When they don't respect the Star Spangled Banner , they are showing disrespect for our country , their citizenship should be revoked , and they should be shipped to some far off island or country. I say , load them on a plane and when they are half way there over the ocean, open the door to the airplane and tell them to jump and swim the rest of the way to wherever.
I gave 4 years of my life for my country during WWII to save it for freedom , not for some idiot who does not show respect for it, and am well proud of it. I received an injury which caused me to have to give up a profession I loved, but I had learned to live with it until 1976 at which time I had to leave it. I was able to work at a menial job until I was able to secure Social Security at age 62. I never filed for compensation for the injury because I knew there were other Veterans who needed it more than I , and I do not ask for pity . When I learn of people who are paid high salaries and they show disregard for the privilege of being able to do so , I come apart at the seams , and I say, "Fire the SOBs".

Please explain to me how does gun laws make good people out of bad people? How does that work?
So banning guns is going to eliminate all the evil in the world huh? Does restricting the use of guns suddenly make a man's heart full of love and good will? Does taking away a man's gun solve the problems with society today? Does taking away a man's means of defense make him safer? Does taking away guns make hate go away? Does taking away guns make the proponents of gun control feel like their problems have all been solved?

Who benefits by gun control? Criminals do. Criminals will then feel more emblazoned to commit crimes because the prey will not have the ability to defend themselves. It turns out the more normal citizens with guns the lower the violent crime rate. The way to eliminate crimes is to eliminate criminals rather than eliminating guns.

Banning guns takes away another slice of our liberty. Banning guns is one step closer to socialism and totalitarianism. Banning guns is flat out Un-American.

The Second Amendment has existed since 1791.
The problem is not guns.
The problem is societal decay.

The madness of perceiving human behavior. How can any one person have the ultimate truth of how people
think feel and react to any given situation? Remember the ol classic saying from unique groups of people who say "You don't know me You don't know my heart or mind !!" I think anyone who says that tend to not know who they are either so they say such a thing in defense of being vulnerable to the perception of others
The saying Know thyself is most true. Seeing your life through the eyes of another who loves you unconditionally
often hurts because they will tell you the truth. Those who don't give a f*ck about you will say nothing and focus their attention to others who they feel will fit their comfort zone.
Fair weather friends are just that. when things are going good they are your friends when things are going bad you may find yourself alone.
Beating ourselves up trying to fit in is a hopeless endeavor. If being yourself is not working for ya it is clear you need to play elsewhere or the people you are playing with are not worth your time and effort.
If nobody loves you in your lowest time they will not love you in your highest. If you kick those who do love you and are trying to help you and you may not like the quality of help offered but it is what you may need.
Many call it tough love. Tough love teaches us that others see a gift in you a trait and quality that you don't see in yourself. Those who do love you will stick by you through thick and thin for better or worse richer or poorer and sickness or health the very vows many make but I see they are mostly just words for many. If it were not so the divorce rate would not be so high. We are here to build relationships and friends and maybe find a more tighter relationship for s*xual union and bonding. Yet, I make my observations of the behavior of many here and the overall attitudes about their relationships based upon what they say or ask about in getting or offering opinions.
I think many take it as a joke who could care less about anyone. Many are here to build a fortress that nobody can break through. Many are here for a popularity contest and many have lost their faith in finding a friend. Perhaps those who lost that faith one could suggest try being a friend or at least make yourself available for others to reach out. To be emotionally unavailable you might as well not waste your time screwing around of a date site. This site offers one element most others do not. We can write blogs forums and all kinds of things from games to whatever and it gives many around the globe a chance to reach out to people who would otherwise be unnoticed. Everyone comes from all walks of life and cultures and it sort of made the world a bit smaller and perhaps a bit cramped. Nevertheless, it leaves us with many choices. We learn though that many share the same common denominator that we are never going to be happy behind a computer screen. Yet, imagine if we were all in the same room up close and personal. How would our behavior change?
Suddenly, we would have to face those we hurt or those who hurt us. We would have to either learn to get along or end up fighting for nothing causing undue pain.
In a world on the brink of civil war and nuclear and social political strife all around the tensions are mounting and I believe everyone is feeling it. Yes we can sugar coat it through niceties and poetry but I think we all need to work on our ways. Yes many will say Akel as soon as you change your ways perhaps others will change theirs. Do consider that behavior patterns are hard to change or break and one has to be aware of the sabotaging patterns in order to break them. Yes, I have said like Ghandhi as said many moons ago Be the change we want to see in the world. It has to start with me and others.

Before you plan terminate your employee, just think, why I couldn't find an other job for him within my department, or other department,
May be he can perform better, give 2nd chance all the time.
and think lots of time before you terminate anyone, because you might destroy his plan of his life (family).
Also it can happen to you.
Don't say I am professional, there are too many like you.
