Royal Air Force Quick Reaction Alert (QRA) launches have taken place twice in recent days to counter the threat of Russian Air Force bombers probing the outer edge of UK airspace, it has emerged.
On both Monday 18 October and on the following day, Tupolev Tu-95 Bear strategic bombers carried out airborne patrols that came close enough to warrant the scramble of Tornado F3 combat jets from RAF Leuchars in Scotland.
According to data issued near the start of 2010, RAF QRA scrambles have been performed over 60 times
Not exactly the end of a cold war ....

I feel the events in Egypt weigh heavily on the prospect of peace in Israel. To me , it seems that if there is a more representative form of government in Egypt, perhaps the compassion every Muslim in Egypt must feel for the plight of the Palestines would be better expressed. And this would lend more support to a Just and Honorable settlement.

Why will you never look at the whole picture? The peace is about the Whole of the area not just the Palestinians.
Try looking at All the factions and then you might get a clearer picture.
