Oh I see. Yes, it would be good. It does get a bit heated at times. But there again you get similar trolls such as the one(s) who cause(s) antagonism on the Middle Eastern threads on other boards here too. Ones that want to provoke others into some reaction.

Every Israeli/Palestinian thread I've ever seen on here is designed to cause trouble! A few on each side will oversimplify the situation, one ot two will throw in a couple of internet links and we're all meant to take them as gospel and then it will start getting personal till the thread is closed!
We have had repeated bans of individuals and recently a few were permenantly banned!
This is meant to be a dating site not a hating site! Next week there will be another exact copy of the thread and all you lot will post all the same nonsense again!

Wow, I agree with you. The only thing the "stress" shows is the passion of some of the individuals holding to either side, to the detriment of those in the middle wanting to learn and for those wishing to discuss things peacefully. Not to mention ... I'm told people living in Palestine and Israel can't post on C/S. Kind of makes the whole thing seem like a trial in absentia. Religion and politics draws the attention of the armchair jurista.

No, the people in the Palestnian territories can; those people under the governship of the Palestinian Authority, but not Israel proper, nor Lebanon. At least that was the rule when I joined CS last August. I am not sure if it still applies. Perhaps it was brought in at the time of the last war between Lebanon and Israel.

I don't know if CS was up and running in 2006, but if then or later, they could allow whatever country they would wish.
I would imagine Israeli members are likely to want to find partners in Israel, don't you?
