smaller government and lower taxes, as the tea party platform is supposed to be based upon, are perfectly valid points and areas of concern for all american citizens.

but has been pointed out there is a racial element to the movement, and that cannot be denied, no matter what anyone thinks.

i just dont get it. the aforementioned agenda is enough to get great support for those who feel disenfranchised with obama administration, so why use the race/hate card aswell?? dunno
