I know pretty well what happened in Bosnia and Kosovo to Muslims...was a White House appointee to a DoD Task Force on Kosovo. So Yes, I would know more the average American.
But there was not a media black out here. We placed the mass grave satellite imagery into the media. We made press statement to the events.
American knew what in a 'general oversight' what was going on there.
We were not going to go in to the gory details or to give specific details because we had American forces in the region and at risk.

In the case of Rwanda ,I agree...the media was slow to report it and failed to report it in a accurate manner. But my point is what does Rwanda have to do with the Tea Party that was not even a gleam in Sarah Palin eye then? Were is the connection between the two?))

Well I am not certain to what the attitude in Serbia was to Muslims. I have some idea from the video and articles read at the time from the country.
From the US side of the issue....we went their to stop the genocide and to put them back into the country that Serbia was ethically cleansing.
I saw that a pretty moral mission.

We were discussing racisim and how racisim can be expressed and Rwanda came up of how it can be about not only skin color, but beliefs as well....at least I believe that's how it came up

i could quote many extreme exAmples of christianity right back to the crusades to now, but i have a warm bed beckoning (with lovely clean linen sheets i might add)

They of course, would look around....and see mostly white faces. The countries majority is white....and say "NO". Then realize he was taking their photo place online so that other in minority groups would see them at a Beck / Tea Party Rally.
Then then had the guy....a white guy this time...that attend Tea party rally....with a anti black t-shirt on and was hurling the N word around....only one T-Party attendee recognized him as a support for the
DEM canidate. He confronted the guy with his cell phone taking pic. The will not give his name and leaves. The next day when the DEM canidate has a rally....they found the guy at the rally.....being normal.
I don't know if this stuff is sponspored by the DEM party or just by wackos that want to make a racial issues on the campaigns. But either way it does not help the public debate or the country to make race the central issue of our politics.
well if this is correct, a very unfortunate set of events.
