moonmana1: If this is true, sure there can be idiots, or small pockets of idiots in any party.. Have not been to any like you portay in MN. Not even close.. WE all want change! But for the good this time.
that's for sure...and definitely something we can all agree on
cherryrae: the voice of moderate republicans is being gagged
So very true, moderate republicans & moderate democrats are being silenced and sadly they are being silenced by a miniority, but that minority has a big mouth

NordicSkier: What the hell is wrong with you Danes, anyway?
Are you so blinded by your staggering tax rates and your "cradle to grave" socialist nonsense that you actually believe that intelligent people would want to put up with that?
As I recollect you have the ignomious distinction of surrendering to the Germans in WWII the same day that you were invaded. Speaks volumes about your competence. And let's not forget the 1860s when you gave up Schleswig-Holstein with nary a fight.
You talk about two armies...the two armies that you should be worried about are the hordes of illegal aliens and the Muslims. Of course, you've seen enough Muslims in Scandanavia to finally make you wake up.
If you ARE still asleep, ask someone from Paris why Paris is burning. It's the Muslims in the suburbs torching cars at night.
no its not. it socialist student movement . dont confuse race with idealogues

JSuburbia: Similar in my opinion, but as I said then, that isn't a reflection on it's members, more so on it's leadership
exactly. the tea party followers are purposefully being kept in the dark as to the real agenda, and the so called 'grass roots' peoples movement, is being backed by some of richest men and biggest corporations in america.
cherryrae: from what i've read jsuburbia is actually a republicanarent the tea party rallies and meetings open for all anyway?
excuse me if i'm wrong
I used to be a very loyal republican. Right now I consider myself more so an independant... I really don't care what letter someone has next to their name...If they have a great idea, I'm all for it...Racisim, is NOT a good idea and NOT good for America.
What turned me off on the tea party is they held a week long meeting on how the government should keep taxes down, yet these people were being a poor example by holding thier meeting on a luxury cruise ship..its tough keeping taxes down but someones gotta do it Sarcasm inserted. I have no problem holding taxes to a realistic goal but this group screams spoiled rich brats who don't want to pay the same as the middle class or poor, the tea party is thier tantrum...right or wrong thats how I feel and they proved it with thier indiscrete luxury cruise.
cherryrae: the link challenge is on. do you have any evidence to refute the the links i have provided?
and what of bush denouncing teapartiers?
Okay, here we go. Now why would you cite George Bush as a reference. He is probably the most hated Republican by liberals. He was never given any credibility by the left for 8 years, so why would his opinion be relevant to a liberal now.
Your first link regarding racial slurs: I would suggest you go to Utube and listen and watch the videos of the day in question. If you hear racial slurs, I'll spring for lunch.
There was 1 video by a left winger who made allegations of many things being said, but there certainly wasn't any evidence of such. With all the cameras and tape recorders there, surely 1 would have picked up something racial.
I would make the distinction of something being said that could be construed as hateful vs. racial. Because Mr. Lewis was a 60's civil rights hero doesn't mean he's some type of god now. People don't have to love his current political beliefs.
Now...go find some racial slurs. If you do you'd get $100,000.

And that tells me that isn't their agenda in the least if they can't even observe simple common sense like that...Just people that want power and see a nation of people hurting and desperate enough to give it to them.

Almost as bad as Pelosi requiring a private jet on the taxpayers dime. Boehner is retiring the damn thing
cherryrae: thats a funny story, and of course there are vested interests in keeping some people poor, but i dont believe it comes from withing the democrat nor the republican parties. you are only finger pointing and your lack of response as to my allegations of tea party is interesting indeed
Seems like the people who have the most to say about this country ,DONT EVEN LIVE HERE.
