alQeada ....has pulled off attacks in the US, Europe, Iraq, Pakistan. And has become a coordinator and faciliator for about 50 regional terrorist groups around the world.

My last post tonight....but to say....Muslim threat on American soil...is to make it USA vs the Muslim Terrorist issue. It ain't so. See the big picture....become the big picture.....see the big picture......become the big picture. That is my best imitiation of Chevy Chase doing his infamous golf ball mantra...in Caddy Shack I....grin

Just because it's the #1 target of the United States, does not make it the #1 threat however, and that is what the discussion was in reference to in the first place.

i agree with what the movement supposedly stands for, in regards to individual freedoms, small government, lower taxes. and honestly america needs a third party. but the tea party is not it.

i feel that parading something as a grassroots movement, when it is backed by koch industries the 2nd largest corporation in america,(who seem to have an agenda of destroying the EPA) and creating an undercurrent of fear of your ordinary fellow citizen, plus the fact that candidates fail to impress. it gets a no from me
cheers

Looking at the demographic outline of the Tea Party candidates I failed to see anything but a right wing "I am all right Jack" attitude who want lower taxes and individual rights.Fine if you have the money that these folk have but in any decent society we have to look after each other. Socialism, the Tea Party shout.....But the most successful countries in the world with a very high rate of Education and health throughout their populace are the Scandanavian countries . Who earn high wages across the working population and pay a higher percentage in tax than most other countries. Yet they have a better standard of living than the US.... Should we copy....I think we might they by the way are weathering the world recession better as well As always JMO grin cheers

i agree, the european system is the way to go. but there is an inherent mindset and romanticism (not that i am discrediting it) of the way america was founded, and what is written in the constitution, even if i personally believe it is antiquated.

cheers
