JSuburbia: You do realize that this is about as far from the truth as it gets? The Tea Party was formed by Freedom Works, which is a major republican contritbutor....Far from grassroots.

do you realize George Soros (Hungarian) is the hack behind the Democrat party? help

There are seven people in this country that help us make sure we stay aligned with the constitution and, for the most part, they do a very good job of it. The idea of "going back to the constitution" doesn't make a lot of sense because we've never abandoned it. There are, however, people who would love to scrap it but they've got to get by the 7 folks I mentioned already in order to actually do it.

The constitution and bill of rights is what keeps Americans who enjoy posting absurd drivel and/or hate speech and/or "revolutionary" messages from disappearing in the middle of the night never to be heard from again. Not that they'd be missed, of course, but just sayin'.

There is lot of difference, Jsuburia

Let's see...We've done that all in our past already to regular Americans...We've proven that we are willing to put people into "Internment camps" (Japanese citizens during WWII), people are already dubbed "unpatriotic" if they don't have a flag lapel pinroll eyes , and it was actually very popular for towns during the 60's to organize book burnings of authors thought to be considered "subversive"

amahlala: I brought it up as a point because while I can see what they are trying to do...it does not mean that certain aspects of the Constitution would not be ignored.

The Tea Party crowds are about 50/50 from what I've seen; men and women.

I'd have difficulty seeing intelligent women begging for their vote to be taken away. What I see is a libertarian "flare" within the tea party.

Basically, "get the hell out of my life". That's what I like about them. thumbs up

Not exactly true anymore. The Patriot Act authorizes the government to arrest people indefinitely without trial or lawyer in secret prisons & without due process of the law..All in the name of national security.

We are talking 50 years ago, on most of your examples. Today we have the Mexicans doing mass protest carrying the Mexican flags in our cities. No Tea party person threw stones at them. It was a yawn to the mid roads, IND and conseveratives. Did we talk about it? Sure. Talk...not stones.

President Obama did not wear the American flag...but won the election. 69m people voted for his platform and smooth talking personality.))

As for defending.....the Japanese internment....FDR did have a little problem....called WWII going on.

Joe has to pay his Fannie Mae underwritten Mortgage and his below market federal student loan because some stupid liberal decided that Joe and the government would be better off if he was educated and earned more money over his life-time.

Joe is home from work, he plans to visit his father this evening at his farm home in the country. He gets in his car for the drive to dads; his car is among the safest in the world because some liberal fought for car safety standards. He arrives at his boyhood home. He was the third generation to live in the house financed by Farmers Home Administration because bankers didn’t want to make rural loans. The house didn’t have electric until some big government liberal stuck his nose where it didn’t belong and demanded rural electrification. (Those rural Republican’s would still be sitting in the dark)

He is happy to see his dad who is now retired. His dad lives on Social Security and his union pension because some liberal made sure he could take care of himself so Joe wouldn’t have to. After his visit with dad he gets back in his car for the ride home.

He turns on a radio talk show, the host’s keeps saying that liberals are bad and conservatives are good. (He doesn’t tell Joe that his beloved Republicans have fought against every protection and benefit Joe enjoys throughout his day) Joe agrees, "We don’t need those big government liberals ruining our lives; after all, I’m a self made man who believes everyone should take care of themselves, just like I have".

You have one extremist in a group of 25m. Gesh...Alan Greyson had his opponent painted a Taliban and anti woman rights advocate because he quoted a bible verse on marriage. Which Greyson hacked up and misquoted and took out of contest.

Every party has a flame thrower or two. Seldom do they lead the party.

See many of the Tea party members act on his advice? Some Tea party member lost their bids....but hispanic in their districts have not been rounded up for camps.

Greetings amahlala

I have already posted this on grade Obama A,B,C,D,or F.

This my be of interest for you:

Obama Care is an issue within itself. The majority of the US people want to repeal the new Law because it’s already driving up health care costs. The US health care system is still the best in the world. (If it’s not broke, then don’t fix it) Like Nancy Pelosi and President Obama want to do.

Allow me to give you a secret about health care in the USA? You do not need insurance for health care, but you must be diligent and perusing when you do this. If you go into a Hospital, you will receive a large bill. If you talk to the Administrator’s at the Hospital and Doctor offices, they will automatically give you a 40% discount on your bills through Charity. Income in most cases is not considered. The Hospital and Doctors will put you on a small monthly payment plan and in most cases will forgive and extend your bill if you are not able to pay at that time.

It is more expensive to insure yourself for health care than to go without insurance in the long run.

Where does Charity come from? The wealthy who contribute for income tax reasons. This is why we must extend the Bush Tax Cuts to the upper class. We can balance the expense by cutting our deficit and limiting earmarks as a start. Eliminate charity, and then you tax the poor who can’t afford it.

And now Joe is passing along $13 trillion dollars of debt to his kids because of some liberal ideas that got out of control. But don't worry, because Joe is the other guy...and the other guy's kids and grandkids can pay the debt and have a lower standard of living.

Having worked in hospitals and having been in the medical field for many years, some of what you say is true. However; not all who are wealthy, contribute to charity and not all who are wealthy claim their income on their income taxes.

In most major cities; states have set up "charity hospitals." Have you been in one? Have you determined the level of care that you would receive if you go to one? Did you know that although hospitals are instructed not to turn away anyone in time of medical emergency; if it is determined that you do not have insurance of some type; then you will be sent to the local county hospital? Most are underfunded; staff are overworked and most are teaching hospitals and they receive their funding from the government.

Although you can go in and speak with a hospital administrator to try and reduce your medical bill, in a county hospital, these prices are fixed and it takes going to court to get these bills reduced.
