the thing about depression is
that when you finally realise what is wrong, where you are, you have a way out.
And when you finally get out, the world is a much brighter and lovely place.
From my experience, the journey back from depression is a rewarding one, you learn so much about yourself, you learn coping mechanisms that hopefully you can put in place if the same circumstances happen again.
Not belittling depression, not saying coming back is easy. It is different for each and everyone that suffers it. Just that if you have the determination you can turn some of your experience into a positive
that when you finally realise what is wrong, where you are, you have a way out.

Sorry but I disagree. Depression is personal issues and NOT world events unless you are directly affected.
