I'm back with a new 'Server', so I'm hoping the endless days of being 'Cut Off' will be over
And that I'll be connected long enough to enjoy a glass or 2
Now that the weather is getting warmer I'll be putting tables & chairs out in the 'Garden Of Cyba'.......should be fun

My house is awash with Easter Eggs this morning!!!!
Does anyone know were the tradition of giving chocolate eggs at this time of the year came from??
Breakfast will be served in the Garden this morning

Mine doesnt seem to work. Everytime I shout my drink order order I receive a chocolate egg!!!
Try to not SHOUT.!!! It makes the sound sound crap behind the bar

This weekend I finally learned the reason behind the eggs/bunny story....... It seems that long ago, when Europe was still occupied by the Celts, their religion involved sort of worshipping the copulating bunnies, as proof of the "renewal" of Spring/Summer, and also the egg as a symbol of "renewal".
Then... along came the Conquering Romans, who promised them that they may retain their Pagan ways and bring their bunny and egg worship into their (the Romans)Catholic church, where it will be incorporated into the "Jesus" worship.... and so we have the combination of the Death and Resurection of Jesus combined with the Bunnies and Eggs.
Christmas Trees have a similar story.... But you gotta wait for Christmas time for that story.
