I work with a lot of seriously intelligent people. I'd say their average IQ would be 140+. This i supposedly 'genius' level. But many of them would only be genius at their own specialised subject, and quite the opposite outside of it. In fact many are lost outside of it.
Of course, some others are excellent all-rounders, and have common sense, and can live happily in this world. They are in the minority.
I would also debate the fact that an IQ over 140 equates to genius. I know lots of people higher than than on the scale (I am talking the Mensa scale rather than the free internet IQ test scale! And would not consider themselves genius.

I don't remember the exact number but I'm in the top 5%. I think that an IQ is like money...it doesn't matter how much you have, it's what you do with it that matters

Yes, I know mine. I was tested the first time when I was 20.
Probably my self-worth has to do also with my IQ. I can´t separate all the things in me so well :-)
Because of the experiences I made I never would use it in a job application.
No, I would not base my interest in a potential partner on their IQ. A high IQ does not always mean the other one understands what you say. The heart has to be smart and educated, too.
Looks and employment are not important. Sense of humor is great. I think IQ is in a way important that maybe the other one has (because of the IQ) the same experiences like I have, and because of this is a nonverbal kind of understanding between us.

consideration too, possibly. And if we are talking about the whole,
the rational part can't reach the superrational.
There are some guys managing to "gaze at their own neck", i.e.
they become observers of their own minds at work/at "thought" (at least
for limited times). This moment, you step further than your mind.
How can you quantify that? What is the measure unit for inspiration?

have the IQ preceded by a minus sign. They would not be able to find
the papers with the IQ test due to their amoeba brain rewiring, least to bare a positive result in an applicant.

IQ isn't really that important to me in a partner.
Emotional intelligence is though.
With emotional intelligence we gain the understanding that other's are not us, that they have had their own experiences, and that they may process and feel things(and about things) differently than we do. I find relationships with people who lack that understanding untenable.

You're forgetting to factor in the effect of gravity on the morris minor and how escaping earth's would reduce the acceleration for the first part of the journey, also resistance due to the earth's atmosphere and then there's the question of what happens once the morris minor enters a vacuum. Do we pretend that the internal combustion engine magically keeps working despite the lack of oxygen? And if so once it is accelerating in a vacuum you'll probably need to account for relativity in order to get a accurate answer.
