Ccincy: During Obama's campaign he promised he was going to bring all the troops home but obviously didn't.

To me he is just another corporate owned political figure as always.I also don't believe that no matter who becomes our leader whether it be man or woman that things will continue as they are now.

Sorry CC, and yes I know your son is in the service. Is he still in the front lines?

Bless your heart and I know how you feel.

On your last comment, to continue as they are, meaning it will change no matter what?

Thanks.

I agree. This country is a corporate oligarchy and at this point, it's so obvious that I'm surprised they continue with this entire election farce.

Nidi I am proud to be here, an American citizen with all the benefits that most citizens of the world can't have. And having said that, I can say that we're still the best in terms of societal services, legal system, economic strength and mighty military, but we can do better.

Corporate oligarchs as opposed to monarchial ones, I'm happy to be where I am.

I have not always agreed with our government but I do love my country and have not ever lost hope that she is like the cream will always rise to the top. Some will call that statement arrogance. I call it love of my country. Having faith that good will prevail evil. My faith in the people here is great . Good to see you my friend

Happy I second your content. We are lucky my friend. In most countries we can't even have the rights to express how we feel.

President Obama as a good leader......

What should I say, Conrad? Just repost our CS Dude's blogs the 2008 election.......rolling on the floor laughing would be a great start to answer this.
But now we have 7 year of factual history.....yes it still exists.....if you have not been sucked into the Alinsky political syndrome that is sweeping the land presently.doh

One thing that REV Wright had right about Barack Obama....he is a politician. But the Presidency is best held by a man that can put politics aside for what is best for the country. To me this President Obama greatest leadership fault.

Let us face it...he has a REP Congress that was going to challenge him on the ACA, on immigration, on the debt, and on what he is going wear today and what he was going to eat for breakfast tomorrow. He has decided to take the road of least resistance....and go with executive orders. But that is not necessarily what is best for the country. That is it is my way or the highway politics.

So watch how this is going to play out. He failed to bring the REP Congress into the administration. Now that same REP congress is going to play devil with his Iranian nuclear deal in the Senate confirmation and approval. 47 REP Senator and 327 House are already getting ready to bounce on the agreement...like cats bouncing on a ball of moving string. They are going to tear into this agreement with all fangs and claws fully extended. He needs 60 to get Senate approval. He already has 47 writing letter to to Iran.....do the math. He does not have the 60 for traty confirmation. Bibi gave a good address in the Congress......he even had Pelosi crying.

OK so they were crocodile tears...)))

But a solid and verifiable nuclear deal with Iran....is in the interest of the country and in the interest of world security. But it ain't gonna happen...simply because of the Washington politics. And that is Washington politics that President Obama helped to make. He get a share of the blame from the grid lock of Washington at this point.

Let us look at President Obama as Commander in Chief. Another leadership role that the POTUS has. He made the decision to get us out of Iraq. Now look at Iraq and Syria. We told him and Biden in the 35,000 page transition report that if we left early....the region would destabilize. They did not even read the report much less take its advice.

Afghanistan....now we are going to leave 9800 in Afghanistan for a undetermined period. If we would have done that in Iraq, do you think Iraq would be were it is today?

So as a Commander in Chief....his biggest weakness inconsistency. But his troops like him. They fight for him and they respect the office and his person. Which is saying alot more than what the Secret Service has done for him.

Overall I give him a D+ in leadership......

I've read some things. I can't stomach much for any one that thinks the fraudulently elected, bought into off, marxist terrorist traitor has any good policies or ideas.

Congress and the senate until now have been, primarily, democratically controlled. America doesn't want to admit they have a terrorist in the white house: news flash! People would be surprised at just how well educated most lead terrorists are from all over the world.

He has no good policies unless it supports terrorists. America is paying tribute to terrorists. OUR tax dollars being used to fund our demise. He rules by executive fiat. Not 1 single law or executive action has helped the U.S. or it's citizens. It's done plenty for foreign nations and illegal immigrants though.

He has violated our constitution at every turn. Continually taxing and regulating us literally to death but not 1 thing to help spur or allow economic growth. He is trying to turn sworn enemies into his friends while making enemies of our allies.

Gutting and weakening our military forces while creating chaos across the globe and with in the nation. Roughly 18 trillion dollars and growing, for our national deficit. I can't even begin to get into detail because there's so much of the nation being gutted and so many turn a blind eye and let it happen.

Our own so-called justice system can't even be trusted to enforce truth and law.

galrads: The USA president's job is not to implement all his ideas.

The oath of office of the President of the United States is an oath or affirmation required by the United States Constitution before the President begins the execution of the office.

According to Article Two, Section One, Clause Eight of our Constitution... The president elect must make the oath or affirmation
— “I do solemnly swear (or affirm) that (1) I will faithfully execute the Office of President of the United States, and (2) will to the best of my Ability, preserve, protect and defend the Constitution of the United States.”

In other words, he's sworn to see that the laws made by our representatives in Congress are upheld and executed, suggests budgets, and will protect THIS country (not police the world).

I was hoping to see president Obama withdraw our troops from most foreign countries, including Germany and Korea (those wars are long over). We can save a lot of money without the cost of those bases in forien countries! We can save a ton more money by reducing our active military members from over 1.2 million to lass than 400 million and use them to only secure our borders as well as be prepared for military action elsewhere.
thumbs up

The problem with Obama is that he DOES seem to think that it is his job to implement his ideas....thumbs down

Exactly, that's what I meant. Meaning he's not supposed to be a president. Sorry for my over enthused sarcasm.

I am astounded by how little people actually know as to global economics, who actually runs the entire show, and the biased asinine media that people still believe.

Obama?

BY THE FACTS.....ONE OF THE WORST.

FACTUALLY....

The new EPA regulations issued while Barack Obama has been president are 43 times as long as the entire Bible.

A recent NBC News/Wall Street Journal poll found that 57 percent of all Americans consider race relations in America to be “bad”. That is the worst number in 20 years.

More than 40 million dollars has been spent just on vacations for Barack Obama and his family since he has been in the White House.

Student loan debt has hit a grand total of 1.2 trillion dollars in the United States. That number has grown by about 84 percent just since 2008.

$18,031,021,541,347.52 – The current size of the U.S. national debt. It increased by more than a trillion dollars during the fiscal year that ended a few months ago, and it is on pace to approximately double during Obama’s eight years in the White House.

...and that's just SOME of the FACTUAL...UN-SPUN....TRUTH...that is the "hallmark" of the Obama ADMINISTRATION....for it's not just him, it's the people surrounding him -

Then add in the merchant bankers and MIC that put him in office.

I read here that the unemployment numbers are down because of him.

MEANINGFUL CAREER JOBS VS. PART TIME, MINIMUM WAGE JOBS ....THE PERCENTAGE CAN GO TO ZERO....AND PEOPLE WILL BE POORER....

so please...Obama a "good" President...?

no...

...AND DON'T GET ME STARTED ON BUSH!!!!

2015 Forbes Magazine released its Top 100 World Leaders List. President Obama wasn't on the list. A representative of Forbes said that one of the reasons why Obama failed to make the list, is that in 2008 he said that he would bring America together. Largely, that hasn't happened. Though, while separate cultures have grown stronger, it hasn't united America.

I thought that was a pretty high amount of world leaders. I just found the original list from Forbes. It is Top 50 list, Not Top 100 list.
