Rumples: Closely followed by the appearance of ingratitude. When I do someone a favour I normally take their thanks as a given and I don't expect a favour in return, this means that I expect them to do me a favour without thanks or anything in return, and people don't always like this. Some really respect it, many don't like.
The communication problems of a strong, silent type. I believe that I store up all the things which I don't say and unleash them on here. Anyway, I need to start thanking people and showing to them their value instead of taking it for granted that they know their own value.

You're right; the pen is mightier than the sword...and the sharpness of the sword has two sides ....not all bad and not all good !!! It's part of life lessons that no one can escape ...It's best to transform all experiences as opportunities in getting something good from everything. Yes, beware of those who want you to kiss their hands because they keep the door open for you. If they had a real love for those around them they would not demand immediate payment. I try to always remember to sprint in the opposite direction when I meet people like these.

In this context acknowledgement is synonymous with judgement and therefore you cannot accept someone warts n all. To accept their warts is a negative influence and so it is better to carry off the air of commercial cheeriness in public and go home to your bottle of bourbon and anti-depressants.
Much of what you observe, or feel you observe, about LIFE sounds solid and reasonable. But it's not how LIFE really works. (If the world actually adhered to your way of thinking, which, is, after all, very straight-forward and sane, in the final analysis, then what Utopia we would have, which, of course, we do NOT, or else we wouldn't even be writing about it, because everything would just be jolly hunky-dorrie, which we all know, IS NOT).
