How many women have been contacted by dodgy engineers? (20)
Well many so called females on this site are into beauty and fashion so there is a very low chance they are a real person.

Well, what I find great is that, I have a friend her husband works on the rigs, she lives in Spain and he comes to over on his days off, 3 weeks at a time. He must be an engineer too? These guys, good excuse, don't leave, aren't allowed mobiles etc. handy, gives them time to scam two or three at one time. Oh...the beauty of the sea, ocean, lake, or bath tub.

From what I have heard from other contacts on CS, the oil-rig worker scam is as old as CS itself. There are multiple other scams. I wish someone would post a list.

yes they engineers who will either have their wallets stolen and ask you for money because that was all the money they had or will have pay checks they cant cash and will ask you to cash their fake checks for them......and then they will be on their way to see you but get fake arrested and need money for bail.....

Do dodgy engineers also have a dodgy LinkedIn profile, including dodgy employers they have been working for and dodgy projects they realized?Can I get your input?
Do they copy the profile of a real engineer and stick their profile photos to claim the profile as their own?
... or didn't they ever bother and then hope to get away with the lie that they are the (exceptional) engineer without LinkedIn profile?
