forgotten wealth

One forgets the wealth one has
deposits in our home account
farway from bankers hands
they have no price

love so measureless
smile makes someones day
hope guiding us on
laughter along the way

peace on a tranquil day
patience to put up with
troubles that visit
and seem to want to stay

health and vitality
eyes that see
the vistas of the world
in glorious colour

hear the birdsong
hear the wind
hear the soft waves
stroking the sands

fingers that
can type this out
with a mind
that lends me thoughts

these are some
or a list of treasures
life has given free
to you and me

Gashly
wealth is never measured by penny in hand...at least, for me. a good reminder, serpico, eloquently stated.

You can have all the wealth in the world..
But a touch of a hand, the visions we tend to not notice,,WE SHOULD and enjoy.

Lovely Poem
