The moon wandered lonely ‘cross the sky, Ignored by it’s fickle friends, the clouds, As they meandered by..... They shunned her again and again, Seems they only wanted her when she was happy, Never when she was in pain..... The stars though, never blind, Talked to the wind and the waves, For they had been known to be kind..... So it was this night, they took their rest, The howling turned to a whisper, Waves, gave away their crest..... The moon’s tears dropped down, Ripples reflecting, upon the still sea, A gift to Neptune..... His silvern crown.....
Hi, andrew149, With all moon children below, how can it be that The moon wandered lonely ‘cross the sky? Friendship allows tears to drop down as it accepts these gifts of trust. Nice reflection upon the still sea.
