Flowers in the wind

Though the wild flowers blow in the wind,
they are not lost,
for God is the one,
who knows the number and counts the cost..
For, when the earth opens,
and, the tempest overcomes,
there is nought for his children to do,
for this is their time to sleep, as their spirit succumbs.
