AS NIGHT BEFALLS............

As night befalls us, each and every one,
She comes to show us our day is done,
To draw a line under good deeds and bad,
The happy or sad times we’ve had,
To mark our journey, done part way,
And, to close our eyes, ‘til dawns once more,
A brand new day…..
