Even...For You

To the lonely and busy mind
Wherein regret doth creep therein
Fret no more neath the shroud of thine envy
For a time shall come wherein grief subsides
And will no longer bear the wounded pride
Of a self once chained to the woes of rejection

To the lonely and busy mind
Wherein hope doth seem to hide its face
And understanding seeming to be confused
And the passions of love doth seem unknown
Trials to bury…burdens carried too long
Think not of how long the time
Before within you… the seeds of joy sown
There cometh for you the hour of grace
Misunderstanding becomes a wisdom known
Smiling with honor and righteous perfection
Pains still there yet not as loud

To the lonely and busy mind
Envy goeth by demands of glory
Though from within the tales of doubt
Doth tempt you to a solemn silence
Whilst tremors speak of clenching fears
Knoweth well that freedom in this darkness
Shall soon be gone as the Light of promise
Bears upon you what longing hath called
Relax, I ask… For hope is near

To the lonely and busy mind
Of whomever reads upon these lines
Let go, let go of the heart once more
That abounding peace might make its stand
So the longings of the heart and mind
May know in you the divine reflection
A Light of truth in all you do
Whilst a glimpse of hope like a cosmic strand
Doth leave you to know love hath come

To the lonely and busy mind
Fret if you must whilst dancing with wounds of envy
Yet know the hour for you to be
Is when from within your deepest sense of self
You shall know…that love hath come…love hath come for you.

Do not worry of the typos comfort I make my share of them too. In regards to that song, "The Great Passage" it was quite the challenge holding myself emotionally together while playing it. After a few takes and a lot more discipline I was able to capture the entire piece with no mistakes. Yet in my humble opinion, even perfection falls short of what humanity deserves to hear. I thank you for your positive support, rapturecapture.

Thank you Jyonnah~
If youth were the testament of knowledge, perhaps I would never long for old age. blushing Yet in the longing there is a memory within me that says, "please no..wait..stop.. I don't want to grow old anymore!" Yet here go I thinking old age will be the only way to capture what I desire most in a woman. I tell myself this is a flaw in my thinking. Yet experience has shown me many times over that though a book may not be judged by its cover, it is assuredly placed (aside) with books seemingly related to the same subject. I do not desire to be just any subject shelved in the minds of the few. I would however desire to be a subject that matters enough to have made it to one's heart. For in their heart, I know without doubt I can take their greatest fear and bring it to its knees, whilst lifting up that person to what heaven canst touch. I realize a day will one day come when I too shall pass away. Yet in this grief that robs me of the present moment, I shall compose, write, and record songs so that others may find encouragement and/or inspiration within their own story/subject... that is to say...till the music stops playing within me.

You are hardly a shelved book, Jesse. You have made it to my spirit, more so than to my heart. My son and friend, here is what I perceive in "The Great Passage" -
12:50 - Resolve
13:59 - Hope
15:51 - Faith
16:22 - Victory

And in "Reflective Prose" (so beautiful, my friend!)
You and my son Jarrod should commune. He is the worship leader at his church. You both would benefit with each other's beautiful fellowship.

In "Reflection's Prose" you are playing the music of my heart. So peaceful.. so full of joy.. I am blessed by your joy.

The music of the galaxie in infanent glory and depth of darknesss. the music speaks without a word as the desert angle dances in the dream of joyous wonder. You are a music genous...ok dont laugh I can't spell very well. I liked your poem also.
