Night and Day

The field is set,
The line is drawn,
It has been this way,
Since the very first dawn.
In no mans land,
Eerie twilight,
As the orb retreats,
And shadows, rearguard fight.
Seems this time,
The Moon has won,
But, look to the east,
Recovered, radiant, resplendent, the Sun.
