Inspired by the song ' Down amongst the dead men' by Flash in the pan. Heard it on the way to work today which inspired this poem. Totally different subjects
I wrote this poem after reading we are all stardust and butterfly that lady jewel posted. I was talking to my sister yesterday about a dream that I had that when I was talking to my father about it he said my sister told him about a dream she had and it sounded like we both had the same or similar dream. We both told him about the dream separately without knowledge of the other having it. It was must have meant something because we both told him of the dream with in days of each other. This happened about a year ago. The dream was about collecting star dust from different stars. The poem that ladyjewel posted reminded me of that dream. I read the poem butterfly that she posted because some of my close friends used to tease me and call me mariposa and mariposita which they told me meant butterfly. I don't know why but those poems evoked profound feelings within me. I used to love writing poetry as a child so I started writing and the poem simple math is what came out.
Waking up from a dream and realizing these thoughts and feelings are'nt my own. Yet they are flowing through me. Without hesitation I caress my pen with paper and create what is now within a trance.

Meandering through the hills and dales, I kiss the celtic maid, Her emerald gown's aglitter as frosted dewdrops fade; My flowing water's lullaby as it carries down the valley, Blends with the thrushes song as he whistles in the sally. Smoot

I remember Rob and Fab from Milli Vanilli saying a large part of their success was eating right with lots of fruits and vegetables. I saw a retelling of my favorite story from my youth of The Pumpkin Giant. In it a boy gets in shape and teaches the fat girl how to get in shape too. His dad kills the pumpkin giant, his mom makes yummy pumpkin pies, her dad the king knights the dad for killing the pumpkin giant after eating a pumpkin pie that grew out of his busted up head, and they all live happy and healthy together.
Blood wasted, Energy bursted. Breath short, Energy small. Thoughts vague, vision blurred. Fear some, Emotions none. Falling from bed, Opened cracked head. Blood spreaded, Head bursted.

This was a response by Allwyn Marcher, (my D&D bard), to having assassins set upon his trail to try and make him either shut up or die.
She came out of the stars one night while dancing free wanted to see the world that lay beneath her feet on the wings of cloudy night star dust and twinkling light peered over the world below scattered it with angel snow angels are above
They say that we have a soul mate, I think I might have met mine but maybe not, or he's not ready. Never stop looking and hold tight when you find them.

Meanwhile back at Hamburg things were going along as things normally did. There were still crooked ramshackle houses scattered higgledy piggledy everywhere and in between the houses the pigs foraged for food digging their snouts into the ground churn
This poem was inspired by the fairy tale mirror mirror on the wall... I thought mirror mirror on the ceiling would be a nice adult Twist. This was part of a project where we were decorating mirrors... My full length mirror was decorated fit for Freddie Mercury... and was exhibited at the Alley Theatre Strabane

Another Song/poem from My Fantasy Bard Allwyn Marcher. This one needs a little explanation. In the Fantasy world where Allwyn lived and died, he made his home in a small town Called Bendir, ( think medieval market town LOTR style, but with magic being more common place), located in Bendir Dale The Hawkin Is a bit like a local Militia )combined peace keeping force and town guards) in the Dale, it is a Voluntary organisation dedicated to protect Bendir aid travelers along its dangerous roads, Also the actively seek out threats against the Dale and Bendir (Orc uprisings, Evil wizards, ect ect), Members of the Hawkin are Called Defenders, Allwyn became Defender This song was written By Allwyn as a tribute to one of his brothers in arms who fell in battle against a powerful foe In defense of the Town

People live in bubbles now. Safely in their shell. Appearing to communicate. Getting on well. Witty, charming, intelligent, sweet. Someone you really want to meet. Trouble is, and it is a curse. When you meet...the bubble bursts!

It is a play on Star Trek. I am a Hugh fan of Star Trek and Star Wars and Sci-Fi in general.
One of my biggest disappointments is the lack of funding of space programs. The first man on the moon cost around three percent of the government's budget and ended in 1975. We are moving forward once again towards Mars, but still the political will is not there to put up some real cash towards this goal.
