I was in dream last night feel like no one else could ever feel The stars were gazing my life and breezes dancing in the same rhyme, A grave Voice from the sky asked me to leave all behind but how can I crush my Fate when all my life runs in

If the demons of our dreams, Were not to us bound, What a nightmare then, Our world would be found. I looked deep into my soul, And what I found there brought tears, The demons had grown in number, And given life to all my fears. But, fea

Waking up from a dream and realizing these thoughts and feelings are'nt my own. Yet they are flowing through me. Without hesitation I caress my pen with paper and create what is now within a trance.
Beneath the liquid sea of night I marvel at the stars like little diamonds in the dark the same where ere you are. The massive beauty pulls me in and lulls me like a wave pushing me past infinity and asks " are you so brave"? Come dance a

"It's not what you look at the matters, It's what you see" by Henry David Thoreau.
I wrote this poem after reading we are all stardust and butterfly that lady jewel posted. I was talking to my sister yesterday about a dream that I had that when I was talking to my father about it he said my sister told him about a dream she had and it sounded like we both had the same or similar dream. We both told him about the dream separately without knowledge of the other having it. It was must have meant something because we both told him of the dream with in days of each other. This happened about a year ago. The dream was about collecting star dust from different stars. The poem that ladyjewel posted reminded me of that dream. I read the poem butterfly that she posted because some of my close friends used to tease me and call me mariposa and mariposita which they told me meant butterfly. I don't know why but those poems evoked profound feelings within me. I used to love writing poetry as a child so I started writing and the poem simple math is what came out.

Through the time we spent as stoic figures, Resting on cement legs that restricted motion, And emotion a play of figures dancing in circles With shadows joining the dance, Monotony, Her fragile frailty, Outstretched arms to mobility, I
