My first attempt at a Haiku

This is a haiku I wrote many years ago when I was living in Clifornia. In the seventies Haikus were very popular in Northern Califormia, as were many things Japanese aand Indian: the hippie era and 'alternative' living and religions.
I'm sitting alone in a store full of books; Why have people turned into crooks? There's lots of people but not with me, Guess I'll have to climb a tree! It's been years since my union failed; Guess I'm too much to be entailed. Too odd I am -ecc
