Every tear is a soul
that, were they caught in a bowl,
would weigh in among all of the worlds
most precious diamonds and stones

Each one a story that cannot be told
full of one's sentiments
and worth more than gold

I should have been there to collect and recover,
a treasure that was meant for each other

Every drop that I missed
like all the moments we've kissed
Would soon be followed by another
and another

The tears that I caused you
should be far behind you
yet in me they will always flow on

no wish to hurt and never desert
The one that I long to make smile

Your soul wells within me
Every drop of it

Every little bit
will help you get by

Every bit of love,
All of the work
each moment of play

It'll all fly
get's you above
gives you that smirk

Find yourself high
thoughout the day

I wouldn't want it
any other way

Save to be with you
in this gentle eclipse
an equinox tidalwave
caught in a kiss

A moment in passing
gives up,
once it's there

It longs for the time
that it could'nt share
and hangs in the past
too worn for wear

Why do I care?

Woke up this mornin' I could sense a change,
you left the bathroom light on.
Even before I found your note,
I knew you were gone.
Now all I have are these four walls,
to keep me company.
the night rolls in on a velvet fog,
to join me in my misery.

And i'll try as hard as I can....
To keep from cryin' myself to sleep
Wonderin' what to do
Now that i'm all alone, i've gotta face the truth
Without you, now that your gone.

I walk the streets for hours on end,
but only in the light of day.
Lost in the crowds that shuffle on by,
for a little while I feel ok.
But soon the night will roll in again,
to swallow up the day.
And join me in my misery,
and this heartache that won't go away.

And i'll try as hard as I can...
To keep from cryin' myself to sleep

I try so hard not to cry

Couldn’t find a reason stay.
Don’t know if its better this way.

This heart of mine weighs heavy with uncertainty and fear.
Didn’t think of where to go from here.
The journey begins from the one I hold dear.
I guess I continue walking till the darkness of despair becomes clear…

there is no yesterday
there is only now they say

and yes today i remember
laughing together at the beauty we shared
the moment we knew our love
for we were together so pure and perfect then.

your poem to me your musicman
the gift of your precious heart
and the many little things
words kisses looks
a thousand dreams
a new beginning
we had everything.

and yesterday i was happy
and now i am sad
because i remember these things today,
and these memories that once lifted my heart
now weigh me down like a guilty thief
and i dont believe i will ever be happy again.

where ever i go
i secretly look for you
hoping for a chance meeting
that i know would do no good,
you would at most be polite
before taking flight.

i am a memory you would rather forget
and i cannot blame you
i will remain forever
a day in the sadness of a broken heart

Everywhere to look but with nothing to see,
Places miracles at a low towards a balance discrepancy .
Looking for that sign or that moment that will trigger the explosion,
Inside of my heart which can erase all the emotional erosion.
Now the games have been played and yet the ice begins to melt,
Even as it tries to hold on to the silence as an expensive pelt.
Now there he stands with a hammer the size of his thigh,
Looking over to the thawing cube as he sets out for the final goodbye

IS A RISK MY HEART JUST WONT TAKE.

lay on the bed, I throw my arm across it. I feel the spot close to me. And that dull ache in my chest tells me your not laying next to me. Though I let myself drift, all that happens is thoughts of you snickering to me. No sleep comes for me, cause I'm alone in this world and that's no mystery. I write this poem, in a transfixed state. Cause I write it for someone, that I wonder if I've ever really let close to me. I have faith in time, just as in other things. Cause it's going to be fate, that places you next to me.

Love of my life remain by my side
at the dawn of light betray me not
destinies hand will decide my life
with you my love I shall never part.

I AM NOW AN OPTIMISTIC MYSTIC

I’m doing better than when we were together
The universe has granted me delicate weather
Today I can laugh at the mistake you made
For today a thousand tomorrows I wouldn’t trade

Life is easier without the doubt of loving you
And it’s like my soul is hovering above the blue
Just like an angel with wings that never molt
And my body is always a safe distance from a lightening bolt

In the morning I awake with a smile because you left
And to think others believed I’d be left bereft
But that’s because they didn’t know the you I knew
As my body is still hovering beyond the blue

So life for you can be rich but I don’t care
Because I no longer have to suffer you being unfair
You can be donning diamonds, mink and imported Italian leather
Because I’m doing better today then when we were together
