Silent prayer
Angels around
Healing hands
Deep relief
Missed Stargazer
Secrets abound
Foreign lands
Your disbelief
Shooting star
Concealed starlet
Ongoing nightmare
Battle scar
No regret
Now your disguise is bare

Tearing eye quenches the lingering thirst.
Bask in the hypnotic glare, only to despise it's touch.
You lay in abandonment of a long embrace.
Currently laying in silence to what was a comfort.
As a cold front formed, leading to escape.
Unknown entity was a being you became to me.
Memories seep into vision.
Daily routines dominate and distract.
My throat is dry as I am hollow

About lost love and rejection

The beauty in your eyes written in the heavenly skies
The passion within I hear in your sighs
as you feel the gentle caress upon your thighs
Thy fullness of your breasts so delicate and ripe
You are truly Heaven's delight
Be not ashamed of your love if it is true
and sanctified from above
Nor be afraid of thy sight
No greater gift a fool could ever receive
than the love of a woman she chooses
to bequeath
Seeing you dance between the trees
your hair blowing in the breeze
Flowers bow down before you
as you do whatever you please
Strength and honor is your shield
you shall never bow or yield
In spite of the battlefield
You seek not weakness
nor take pleasure in meekness
nor fall for any cheekiness
You are beloved of my soul
You take from pieces
and make them whole
All I want is my heart you stole
You think you are so clever
telling me your love is forever
see how it changes
with each new endeavor
Promises made and often broken
while you left me with a mere token
All that is left is but a dream
sailing upon golden streams
As we ride the river of life
beyond the misery and strife
Overall, in spite of any regrets
if we play with fire long enough
burned is what we get

ardent passion

Sometimes
Sometimes when I wake up
Sometimes when I get up
I can feel alive.
Some days
Some days I can see things
Some days I can think good things
I know for I have tried
I try
I try to say things
I try to share things
But they fade into the sky.
Why then
Why then don't people listen
Why then people don’t reason
Even when I tried.
Tell me
Will they ever kiss me?
Would they ever miss me?
Even if I died.
Are there
Are there any reasons?
For the changing of the seasons
Just like the circle of life.

Clouds drop away, expose sparkling day
At times in life, for happy times we pay
Was it sudden, or dawning came slow
Emotions left, leaving no inner glow
Clouds can come fast, cover what's been
Aware what happened, what you'd seen
Denial..... what your eyes so briefly saw
Your ears heard clearly, closing doors
Many times in life, we'll have to admit
With no safe period, before we commit
Allowing heart-head, to join together
Balance for life, free from tethers
Physical and mental ties, can restrain
Hidden tears, suddenly fall like rain
Experience can't save us, from pain
Taught time heals, then smile once again
Love in many forms, family-lover-friend
As does hate, no helping hand you lend
Allowing to cross lines, no guarantee
Take steps slowly, timing the key
With love comes passion, not caution
Never served in equal portions
We cannot select, if in love we fall
Fate takes control, without any rule....
Mismatches, will constantly occur
Causing problems, for him or her
We have to smile, encountering pain
If experience, is our only gain......

If I love you, I keep you in my roots; you live in me.
Someday you'll leave, and this part of me will surely wilt.
I create a distance so there's less to miss.
Believing 'I need walls, I am tricked.
'Alone before it is time.

Stopped into a local spot for a drink,
Pulled up a stool and I ordered whiskey,
A "Hello" to the fellow sittin next to me,
We got to talking bout our JOB's,
I said "I'm head of manufacturing...",
"In fact I own a lie factory,
Crafting stories only I believe,
Fabricating fantasy and daydream,
See I pretend that she's still here with me...",
I said "I'm head of manufacturing...",
And " I been drowning in the whiskey and wine,
Tryin to hide this aching heart of mine,
While I tell everyone that everything's fine,
It's 9 - 5 on that production line",
Tipped my glass and I said "That's me...",
"Man, I'm head of manufacturing...",
"Line by line, that's just how I get by,
Though it breaks this aching heart of mine,
I keep smiling saying everything's fine,
Like she's with me and not some other guy,
See when it comes to lyin I'm the king,
Said "I'm head of manufacturing..."

I loved him too and oh what a sin,
I felt suddenly naked before him.
Wanting to be distracted I walked over to the window,
His gaze so direct like footsteps they follow.
That question lingerd in the air,
And suddenly all his attention was here.
In this moment at this time,
He forgot to sip his wine.
They wanted to know on a rainy night when old friends got together,
The question of my first lover.
God he had watched me all night, still polite after so many years,
He felt betrayed but I sensed he somehow still cares.
For years ago when we were lovers he too wanted to know,
But instead of answering I had instantly let him go.
He called,he cursed,he pleaded,
But that was the question on which the relationship ended.
Six pairs of eyes waiting on my reply,
The past came to haunt me and I
wondered why.
My lips open but he was walking over to my side,
"I was." He said boldly, and we both knew he lied.
The group started laughing,
Whispers of I knew it and why then did they break up circulating.
He did the unthinkable and kissed my lips,
Tracing my cheeks with his fingertips.
Cheers and laughter went up
as he eased away slowly.
My world swirled around and I felt dizzy.
In my ear he said"You will always be mine."
Then went back to the others and silently finish his wine.
His eyes showed me raw pain and bottled up passion,
Yet not another word he uttered for this strange class reunion.
Eventually we all left and as I got to my car he appear,
Running an unsteady hand threw his rain soaked hair.
It would kill him if he knew that the one he loved so dearly,
Had raped me so violently.
That the one who invested in his future,
Had ruin mine forever.
But the coward I was I drove away and watched him die again,
Wishing that the past too could be washed away by this rain.

About this poem:
I don't know I just did. I guess I wanted to bring across two hearts that beat as one, that are ment to be together and yet can't be.Soulmates separated. Love is a sacrifice and both lovers sacrificed alot for the other and yet...before them is a bridge/a secret that nobody is sure they can cross and not die.
