Soul Mates

Soul Mate...............
Have you seen my sunsets from the other side, and the mighty gnarled and windswept coasts, who’s waves roll up the beaches and fill your heart inside, where gulls are circling overhead and you’re glad to be alive, but, something’s missing, there‘s no one there, to even share, this moment that’s arrived, and as without, whom beside, it’s gone alone, that special time, moments meant
to share, in loves embrace, that no one else will ever see, for as the sun, sets never twice the same, yet on life’s beaches there I’ll see, that loves waves keep rolling on, so my Soul Mate where ever you may be, you and I are special, linked together, you and me, as the rainbow comes with rain, I search for life and thee, my soul mate, I’ll search life’s sands forever, till no longer do the sunsets fill the heavens, or waves span the oceans wide, so, do not come and search me out, if alone, is all, you wish to be, for all else, it is foolishness, soul mate, especially for you and me,
for if it feels wrong now then it surely was never meant to be.

The GATE

The GATE
or Moments Reflect

When something’s worth keeping, don’t let it go
fight to retain the love that you’ve known for
when the love that you have seems faded and worn
search for its meaning where love is reborn.

For in a moment of anger, when something’s not right
surely can lead you away from the love of your life
when all pathways seem leading apart from the start
remember the gateway where you lost your heart

When turning away all that was good, seemed right
at the time, ponder this loss and the pain in your heart
if words don’t come easy, try the truth from the start
take it from me, for I lost my heart alone in such strife

I beckon you caution, firstly, please hear my words
If the love that you carry, was your reason to marry
or was it your reason to leave it, back left at the gate
swapping your loves romance for hurting and hate

I doubt that you’ve, entirely forgotten the truth
when feelings often raised, more than the roof
now, those memories linger and wont go away
simply by wishing them not to stay.

You Learn Loves meaning

Learning love’s meaning
After a while you learn, the subtle difference, between holding a hand and chaining a heart.

Then you learn that love does not mean leaning and that company doesn’t mean security and you learn that kisses aren’t contracts and presents aren’t promises.

Begin to accept your defeats with your head held up and both your eyes open with the dignity of an adult and not the grief of a child.

So you learn to build all your roads on today, because tomorrow’s ground is too uncertain for plans and futures have a way of falling down in mid flight.

After a while you learn, that even sunshine burns if you get too much.

So plant your own garden and decorate your own soul, instead of waiting for someone to bring you flowers.

And you will learn, that you really can endure and that you really are strong and that you really do have worth.

And so you learn and Learn, that with every Good Bye ... You learn,

You ... learn.

FEATHERS FROM AN EAGLE

The sun smiled down on me
I had a love key
The wind whispered your name softly
You wore your Box-Jellyfish cloak
fraudulently

There were storms in my heart
You used me as a dew port
You stabbed me with your venomous honey-dart
What did I see in your winter-eyes
Masque stones of goodbye disguise

Your fish cold lips were black-blood butterfly-wings
on my cheek
The dark cloud in you was oblique

Your voice was an avalanche-waterfall
in my rose garden hall
You stole my love-dream
with your UFO scheme

When the wind took you away
Your unspoken words became a stingray

I flowed heartbroken in space
You made me a cheap phase

You flown on the wings of an eagle
Your cloak-eyes were disentangled
You disappeared like the feathers of
an eagle

MEMORY IN THE THORN MIST

Looked through blues mist
Heard the ego of your voice in my dreams
Saw your shadow in our secret places

Your voice caught me
Fire of hate burned like spice tea
Why didn’t I listen to the voices of warning
The snake at the back of your voice so
perfectly disguised

Walked slowly through the rain of my tears
Memories of us were running through my mind
Cut me open without a typhoon warning

The rose-promise in your eyes was full of
shark teeth
Tried to catch the fallen promises
Reached for a Disneyland love

Remember the words you spoke
Your moon-gentle touch caressed my skin
The movie-soft glance in your eyes

If only I could see the twisted lies underneath the
vampire-beauty

You were the only one who never really knew me
You were in a poisonous cocoon

Now, your face is just a memory in the
thorn mist

MARSMALLOW ANSWERS

Stood in the desert
Hot chocolate memories exert
Screaming words played before me
Felt like a calendar escapee

Everywhere trumpets were singing their song
I’ve been captured by a bee throng
I grasped at an empty hole
The years stopped rock ‘n roll

Starless windows smiled
Flew with heartbreak lilies
Everywhere around me was open-heart surgery
I was so confused
The sea was bruised

Why couldn’t you see
There was no Magnum fee
Leaves grabbed my air
My lips end with solitaire

Looked for marshmallow answers
Where were all the love advancers
Soundless was my prison cell
Laughter-shadows slowly stroll

Did James Bond steal the warmest heart
Mount Everest fell apart
My eyes melted

Scanned love disappeared
Would the swamp tomorrows be persevered
The eagles cry
Would the angels ever lie

FLY-LIES

Seismic waves of tears flooded my eyes
I slept on a bed of lies
Tremors shake each corner of my bleeding heart
You gave me a heartbreak tart

Blood-screams climbed out of my throat
I was on a twisted-thorn boat
Tsunami waves of pain slashed through my crystal-glass
soul
Holding on to a hope-straw pole

Thoughtless thoughts galloped through my
mashed-potato mind
Our ghost-love sealed in a coffee-grind
Tried to escape the cyclone-forest of questions
Our marriage-sledge got stuck halfway up the
Appalachians

Thorn birds cuddled in our bed
I choked on a black-red fish bread
I want to cut this porcelain heart with a dull dagger
You were a Hyena-bragger

Fly-lies swanked through my meltdown thoughts
You gave me a pathway filled with disappointments
We built our dreams in the Milky Way
The sky turned a dark grey

Dianna

Dianna that the moon would tonight rise
And keep such hours as you walking the street.
I was twenty-five and lonely - no surprise
Tonight finds me where lust and money meet.
And having searched for love in stranger's eyes
I felt the need for an erotic feast.
So once again I found myself in Kings Cross -
In the fever of the night where souls are lost.

Sydney nights hang heavy in the summer
Heat oozes in the nighttime seamlessly
And when I saw her she was not a stunner*
(A young man marches on now dreamless he)
An invitation now to come with her
(Like Coleridge I'd found a "sunless sea").
Now somewhere in my dreams you still abide -
Although used by society and tossed aside.

I thought I'd try my best inside my memory
Although how did it all come down to this?
Aside from life and all its petty jealousy
I sought and had found my midnight mistress.
The act pedestrian and every day
For you should I settle as a conquest?
Something bored and maybe even banal -
(She was up there paying off her credit cards).

Raining rust.

The smell of rust reminds me of that home that belong to us, now its juts dust, that night my heart died when from my dead heart a frozen Angel depart, I leave this forsaken world, in search of a new start, I always strive for the never shining light. I only die a thousand times each and every night, my cold dead Angel died and killed the light wich burned my eyes, burned my life. In a forest of pain I always strive to find that life, shredded to shit, raining in rust, dry and dusty my life in crumbs. My Angel I hate you

Once, Twice, Three Times Four

He Hurt Me Once, He Hurt Me Twice, He Hurt Me Three Times Four. Was It Worth It All The Lies, Decent, Secrets And Heartache? Yes He Hurt Me Once, Yes He Hurt Me Twice, Yes He Hurt Me Three Times Four. He Tells Me This, Tells Me That, Which Really Means He's Not All That Into Me. He Hurt Me Once, He Hurt Me Twice, He Hurt Me Three Times Four, He Tells Me Baby I Love You, Baby I Care, But Yet All This Time He Was With One, Two, Three, And Four......
