It is damn easy to believe that you are happy
It's easy to think that everything you do is right
That you believe in yourself, but it's just self-pity
But thanks to you, I'm standing on the earth with both my feet
I believe in everything you say, and I think it's true
It is damn easy to think of others, but when should I start to believe in myself
When I realize that life I live, it is not easy
But we all go in the same direction as the sun goes down
We go to bed all, almost all, anyway
Some fall asleep with a smile, others fall asleep in tears

Some put themselves lucky, but I put myself in sorrow
But I know that if I cry, I will wake up happy
I will wake up with a heart that feels light
But my tears is over, my heart is dry
It is something you have to live with, can not sleep away
But thanks to you, I stand with both feet on the ground
To pretend that you're happy doing more damage than to show their grief
But I'm glad you are by my side even when the sun goes down
You see me cry, but no tears, it's my heart that burst into tears

But you let me slip through your fingers like grains of sand

Now you're gone and nowhere in my sight

I may often ask God if you ever did want what's right


Now I'll walk each day standing on solid ground

Never again will you hear from me or have me around

As everyone will see me strolling along standing proud
