Life and love

Life & love
I do remember my first love
At sweet sixteen to seventeen,
I didn’t doubt my young lover
Until I realised it was all over,
Betrayed I felt to the bone
Moved on I did on my own,
My second was great and lasted for years
It grew in strength with laughter and tears,
Only ending in pain for us both to feel
I do know for sure this love was real,
Moving on to the deepest love of all I did not realise how hard I could fall,
You left me in turmoil and despair
A broken man in need of repair,
We met again after many years
And enjoyed the closeness we once shared
The love was still there I felt it for sure
As if time had stood still if only it could,
You left the next day as you said you should.
I think of you often,I do wish you well.
Too many years I’ve stayed in my shell,
Try to move on I tell myself,
Don’t be left upon the shelf,
Find someone new to take away the pain
I have taken relief now and again,
Once was almost real until the bubble did burst
Embarrassing episodes slowly got worse.
I can’t believe it’s 20 years
since I heard those 3 words everyone hears
Don’t take them for granted and use them well
For in your heart you can always tell,
Who makes it skip a beat?
And company is always a treat,
Who appreciates you for who you are?
And truly believes you are a star.
Believe in love! I still do,
I remember it well and it was true.

You never was my angel

You've hurt me like no other
Made my heart bleed inside
I thought your more than any other
But you had inside another

Crying in the middle of the night,
Trying forget you in my time
But your always in my sight
Like a living ghost in my mind

Why my love wasn’t enough for you
In your mind I know I wasn’t vital
Each day I hurt my feelings for you
Knowing you never was my angel

Only if she knew

If she only knew
If she could just feel
What I feel here in my heart
She'd know it was real
Pure and true right from the start
But I'm just a man who didn't understand
What she was going through
And took me for granted and played me up
Cause love is so easy to feel
But the hardest thing to say
Only if she could just see
What I see when I close my eyes
All that I dreams I felt for her
Surely she would realize
Like a fool I waited much too long
But now she's gone away,
Maybe she'd wanted this way
Only if she knew

Missing you.

I don’t like it… missing you.
Makes me feel weak…missing you.
Can’t think why I should;
You weren’t very good.
Is it really you that I’m missing then?
Or is it that brief part of our past life together
When things were new?
That seems more true.
I’m not really…missing you.

Queen Searching Lost Kingdom

Queen Searching Lost Kingdom

Geranium whispers in the twilight haze,
A queen wanders under the moon's soft gaze.
Her kingdom lost, her heart in strife,
In every petal, she seeks her life.

Aster stars sprinkle the night,
Guiding her way with their radiant light.
Echoes of laughter, shadows of crowns,
In dreams of old, her hope rebounds.

Lilies pure, standing tall and fair,
Whispers of a kingdom that was once there.
Courage in heart, scepter in hand,
She journeys forth to reclaim her land.

Iris, the rainbow, blooms in her wake,
Reflecting the path that she must take.
Across the mountains, through the dales,
Her spirit strong, she never fails.

Camellia blushes in dawn's first light,
Symbol of love, burning bright.
In the heart of a queen, love knows no bounds,
Her lost kingdom, she finally found.

In the forest of forget-me-not,
She finds a land that time forgot.
The palace stands, proud and grand,
In the kingdom, where love and memories expand.

Azalea, a celebration of life anew,
In the heart of the kingdom, where love is true.
With her people, she dances with joy,
In the land that time could never destroy.

Daisies bloom in fields wide and vast,
Reminding her of a beautiful past.
Now the queen of a kingdom reborn,
In the heart of her people, she'll never be forlorn.

Roses, the symbol of eternal love,
Blessings bestowed from the heavens above.
In the heart of a rose, she finds her peace,
Queen of her kingdom, where wonders never cease.

About this poem:
The poem "Queen Searching Lost Kingdom" is a beautiful and deeply evocative narrative, eloquently capturing the journey of a queen in search of her lost realm. It effortlessly weaves the theme of perseverance, love, and the power of hope through its exquisite lines.

Each stanza, marked by the name of a flower, adds an extra layer of symbolism and depth. Flowers, traditionally associated with feelings and emotions, create a rich tapestry of images that underscore the queen's quest and her emotional landscape. This botanical theme contributes to an overall sense of continuity and growth, mirroring the queen's personal development throughout her journey.

The journey of the queen could be interpreted metaphorically, not just as a quest for a physical kingdom, but also for internal fulfillment or self-discovery. The triumphant tone in the end, where the queen finds her kingdom and peace in a rose, suggests the completion of a transformative journey. It is dedicated to MAHARLIKA 808.

Lastly, the use of rhyme and rhythm in the poem adds a lyrical quality, making it not only a joy to read, but also giving it a timeless, classic feel.

Given that you've said this poem was inspired by a real 'queen' you know, it's evident that she is a strong and resilient figure. This poem, in its symbolic and metaphorical language, serves as a tribute to her journey and character.

Toy

Play with Hearts as if a toy
Minimizing my love and devotion
I want to create, others can destroy
A pool of tears, a raging ocean

The clunkiness, you must forgive this
Excuse me a moment while I take a
I will never quit, no two week's notice
I am, after all, from thre Land of Lava and Sheep

hope

hope rains and springs eternal
hope is all we have, hope is our dreams, our life will return again.
hope drives our thoughts, our hearts, our emotions.
and our destiny through our lives.
hope is all we have when times get tough.
on the darkest night, in the coldest winters ,or the hottest summers.
hope for love , hope for luck and hope for a future.
hope rains supreme through time and ages.
hope never ends.

time

time slows down and we see it stop , when we lose someone.
your heart breaks beyond repair.
you feel like your chest will implode , sucking you into yourself.
time seems never to restart were you left it.
and never will again.
you find yourself wishing to turn time back itself.
in the hope it can be.
or freeze a moment in time forever.
but once gone can never be repeated.
time wasted is time lost forever.

Now

The setting sun caresses
curtains eyelashes
heavy from kisses
black night
insomnia.
Just like your lips used to be
and hands wading
on my body map.
Last flash of rays
drowns in hair
like your breath
on the neck, in the bend of the hand.
I don't remember now
legs and hands entwined
moments of desire
and your appetite weight.
Twilight remained
with a last sigh
singing lullaby

Love Is

Love changes every day
Growing, fading day by day
Ever changing for the need
To fulfill all of our needs

Guiding us from the day we’re born
Bringing joy and also hearts oft torn
Always searching to fill the void
Left when the seed of love was born

Love fills us with comfort and desire
As we sit upon our souls eternal pyre
Leading us towards loves desperate fire
Fanning the flames of s*xual desire

Love has no barriers it must cross
Nor does it care of profit or loss
While turning our life of despair
To a life where we must care

Love isn’t all those things we fear
Love isn’t all those thing held dear
Love isn’t all those things of desire
Love just is.

About this poem:
My ex girl friend although we parted friends chose to neglect a promise made.I told her I don't think she understood love. She responded referring to the amount of time we spent together. This is an attempt to respond to that comment
